The probolem with the recaptcha on the registration screen is fixed, the issue only appeared on some browsers (Chrome). Root cause was that I was getting the recaptcha from Google using http:// from my page which is https:// Looks as if Chrome doesn't process such cases (possibly a security setting somewhere). I have corrected it to get the recaptcha from Google via https:// and the problem is solved.
PS: The fix for the "Forgot Password" will be put in the system later today, same issue as above.

I had this problem too. I think the recaptcha is Flash based, (correct me if I'm wrong?) and I had to turn off my flash blocker to see it.
