We've also noticed some phishing attempts and malicious links being posted the the Cryptsy chatbox. That will be dealt with, but as always be diligent about what links you click on. Make sure they are from a trusted host. Security is your priority. Thanks, be safe!
Due to recent events involving other exchanges Vern has enabled 2FA via email for all users of www.cryptsy.com who did not already have one setup
Upon successfully entering your login information a email with a login pin will be sent to your email.
You will need to enter the pin sent to you to gain access to your account.
If any issues arise with this please contact support at www.cryptsy.com via the support tab on the left side of your screen
This is just a security precaution. There is no reason to believe any accounts at cryptsy are in danger. But it is never wise to use the same password more than once. If you do it is advised you change to a unique password for cryptsy alone.
