I'm pretty sure Big Vern would have tweeted something to that end if indeed Cryptsy isn't accepting new members. What I know is that Cryptsy is beefing up its security measures at the moment. Maybe your difficulty in registering is related to this development. Try opening a ticket over at Cryptsy support, as suggested in the previous post.

Hello, I've tried creating an account with Cryptsy and have been waiting since yesterday for my verification email. I have tried logging in and resending an email but nothing ever appears. Is this a known/common problem and if not, how would I go about being able to create (that is, use) an account there? Thanks for your time.
