Fatih - yes, I have gotten that same bullshit excuse from Cryptsy's "technical staff" several times on tickets submitted in the past several weeks.

We all need to just stop using Cryptsy entirely for a few weeks and take our money elsewhere, maybe that will get their attention.

That's just harsh.... some of us aren't fat.  Wink

Cryptsy took 3 days just for verify my Doge-deposit. In this time I lost a lot of money because after this period doge was falling again. Answer from Cryptsy: Sorry, we had technical problems! Angry

I see this same type of thread every day. Vote with your coin and go to one of the other 50 exchanges. If everyone keeps trading there, they have no incentive to change. Your bitching and moaning falls on deaf ears.

Cryptsy is slow, sometimes very slow, but it is the only place right now that has decent volume for many altcoins. The wide selection of coins makes up for the lack of speed, especially when there is no other similar alternative.

The day Cryptsy will accept fiat (that they will), it will become huge. It's true that sometimes lags too much, but the design is great, and easy to use. And if you know how, it's really easy to make btcs there.

You'd think a money exchange would have enough money to get decent servers....

And the "support" department (and I use that term loosely) has more excuses than Obama on why things aren't working or are constantly being taken down and put back up.  You'd think that'd have it figured out better by now.

I sent them another support ticket the other day describing the problems on the site and what I thought of their repeated failures to fix it, but the bad language filter blocked it and said I had to resubmit the ticket for that.   Roll Eyes

Actually i like cryptsy. It somehow seems to be SOMEWHAT "transparent" to me, compared to other exchanges. No question asked: They suck at times. Just yesterday my EAC-Wallet was gone, but I figured they'd update the Wallet or something. And in the end i'm happier if they do shit like that, keep everything updated and secured, instead of getting robbed. Also I know cryptsy from my starter days and it feels like "home" so , yeah, maybe I'm a little nostalgic or something. But I'll stick with them, they're doing an ok job.

I used Cryptsy once. Never again will I make that mistake. Everything, literally everything, is insanely slow from confirmations to transactions to simply navigating the website.

I just want the thing to work properly with a modicum of efficiency, not take 24 hours for my coin deposits to appear, and not have the coin I mine TOTALLY DISAPPEAR from the list of coins when the price is up and I'm about to do a trade!  Then it comes back on later mysteriously.

Call me crazy, but I hope I'm not asking for too much here........

Yeah crapsy does suck when transferring doge and leaf coins but they are awesome on all others. You got to remember they have the volume. You will never lose coins but it will take a long time for some of your stuff to transfer. The doge was missing because of a wallet problem. When crapsy has a wallet or blockchain problem they suspend the coin and it disappears from your wallet but you will get it back.

Big vern is a good guy he just needs more people on his staff.

They only suck part-time, and most of the time they are a place to make good profits.

I'm sick and tired of the BULLSHIT going on at Cryptsy.  For the past 3+ weeks, the site has been very laggy with deposits and withdrawals taking HOURS and sometimes even a day or more to complete.  I have 30,000 DOGEcoin in my account now, and was waiting for 10,000 more to arrive in it that I deposited earlier this evening, and now the DOGEcoin options have disappeared from the list!  That's right, you can't even select the DOGEcoin to buy, sell, or trade right now!  I just sent in another support ticket.

This is fucking bullshit.  I don't know what these jackasses at Cryptsy are doing, but they aren't going to be doing it with my money anymore!

What's a GOOD exchange that deals in DOGEcoin / LTC / BTC transactions, aside from Cryptsy?
