Little Vern has the nerve to take to Twitter and promote their prepaid card scheme:

but has nothing to say about all the withdrawal issues.

What a scumbag.

agreed

or wallets in 'maintenance'

there is no 'bug' imo stopping verified people withdrawing, it's just a ruse
support is doing NOTHING, but closing down tickets or saying someone will sort soon, 'if' they get back
they are already in deep shit

the second it is possible and withdrawals go through, 95% of people will leave enmasse and take coins

complaint to police may be the cheapest action rather than legal route, why waste more time and money than we already have

I had a similar issue, I changed my phone and wanted to deactivate my 2FA. I contacted them, they asked me for my security questions and answers to those and everything went fine.

You had to input those when u registered so what is the issue again?
The issue is probably ignorance paired with the inability to follow simple instructions to unlock the account.

Nobody I know with at least half a brain ever had any issues unlocking his account there. Really.

Well it seems to me that they will end up scamming a lot of people, meaning that they are indeed scammers! Apparently they have started paying out their customers:

http://siliconangle.com/blog/2015/10/19/bitcoin-exchange-cryptsy-may-have-gone-full-mt-gox-refuses-to-pay-out-customers/

I was thinking of that story also.  I am hearing similar story to OP more and more around here.  Considering their involvement with known scammer Josh Homero Garza of gawminers I would avoid cryptsy like the plague.  There is also the coin fire story that cryptsy is under investigation. (Both mentioned in that story also).

Indeed, I feel scam smell here, looks on after coin fire news and then cryptsy make a news on cointelegraph. I see complaints about cryptsy service is not once only.

I think this belong to the scam accusation.
Also that doesn't prove that cryptsy is a scammer. I once lost 2FA and the blame is always on the account holder and not the service provider. You can ask them once again and provide the neccessary authentication to prove that you really are telling them the truth. Also are you certain that you really are talking to their aupport team?

I am sorry to say this but kindly accept my apology, how much do you have in the account that could make you think cryptsy will like to steal it?
Please send them another pm linking this forum discussion i guess they would take you more serious.

You don't know the answers to the security questions cryptsy poses every new user, no-one to blame but yourself, be more vigilant with login and recovery data.
