The nice thing is that they just upgraded their servers and this issues should not occur anymore as the tweet from bigvern says  "BigVern ‏@cryptsy 12h We have completed our move to new database servers.  This should help fix lag issues. (BigVern)" I had several issues that my coins dissappear, but i noticed right the way and they were very nice and helpful. I am starting trading and at the beggining this past two days where kinda exasperating, but today its really smooth and great, my profits had gone up, if you want to earn some profit, I would trade for you and get you anywhere from 10% on your coins or up to 50% of the earnings, in less than 48 hrs.

Dont worry about the small losses, they profit at least 20k to 50k daily!!!

Dear Crypsty user.
Sorry you had this issue. More than likely your negative balance is the result of you being allowed to overbuy or oversell a coin.To fix this and re-enable your withdraws you need to cover the difference buy buying, selling or depositing the amount you were allowed to oversell.

If this negative balance put your account into a frozen status reply to this ticket and agent will be along soon to review your account with you and get you trading again.

If you don’t think you were allowed to oversell or overbuy an agent will assist you with that as well simply reply to this ticket.

Thanks again for using Cryptsy.com

So ransom until you pay.  Can't pay? They close the ticket.  Wonderful.

Every time it has happened to me it is due to a delay between out going and incoming transactions - I realised what was going on after going over my transaction history and finding overall my account still balanced.

E.g. I sell 1BTC for LTC, I then receive the LTC but the BTC remains, I later trade the BTC again (not realising its the same BTC), then after that trade the BTC is deducted from both trades so I have -1BTC BUT the value of that BTC is in another coin so in fact I now have +1BTC of another coin to trade with until I convert back to BTC at which point my account balances. It works out better for us then cryptsy because in that time we have had extra coins to trade allowing you to gain a percentage on money you never had (assuming your making profit on your trades ;P).

Is Crypsty aware of this? This seems like it could be catastrophic for their business...

There has been a lot of cases where some people are able to over draw their accounts. If I recall correctly, one guy overdrew $60,000 from Cryptsy.

I'm pulling all my coins out right now. This is horrible. Hopefully I'm able to withdraw my full balance because I got quite a bit in there.
