So if I have a wallet already and want to add another coin then I must create a completely new wallet for the one coin?

If so will you have an updated version to add coins to current wallet?

Hi everyone, today I'm releasing the first beta version of CryptWallet.

There are various improvements across the board, such as:

• PIN dialog automatically opens keyboard
• Link to trade CRYPT via zTrader
• BTC uses USD as a counter currency, instead of BTC like all other coins

The main feature that is finished for this release is alerts. You can now make alerts for single coins as well as your entire portfolio. Check it out, let me know what you think! Screenshots are below.

Did you try making it the wallet with a different name? Each wallet must have a different name.

Long time lurker... Don't remember why i registered.

I did have one random idea...which you guys probably already have had.

If the Crypt Team could write up test cases for the CryptWallet App, kind of like user journeys.

The Crypt community would then be able to test the app against their different devices, kind of like Community Quality Assurance.

In my mind...an example would be:


TEST 1 — Installation

TEST STEPS

1   Install the application being tested.The application must install without error.
2   During installation note the version number presented to the user.The version number must match that specified during submission.
3   Verify that the application has successfully installed on the device by navigating to the area on the phone where new applications are installed.The application should present one or more icon(s) on the phone.

Notes
For any submissions which do not appear obviously once installed, the submitter must include details in the submission statement of how successful installation can be verified.If the content does not appear obviously on the device once installed, and specific instructions are lacking in the submission statement, then this test will be failed.

I have downloaded the version 3 apk.

When I go to tab in top right corner then Manage Coins. From there I choose manual. I can input the coin and quantity but it ask for wallet name. I type in the wallet name and it says I already have a wallet with that name.

Could be just me not doing it correct.

We are still looking for an iOS dev. We will code an iOS version for certain.

Any iOS release? Can I expect that?

It has been added. Have you downloaded the latest apk? If so, are you running into a bug that isn't allowing you to manually add a wallet balance?

Is there a way to manually add coins to a created wallet or is it not implemented yet?

Tried the V2 on LG G3 with Android 4.4.2.

After adding a coin and creating a wallet when I accepted it the app force closed and now will not open. I keep getting the "Unfortunately, CryptWallet has stopped."

• Continued working on calculated average cost via trade history API (almost done)
• Improved wallet UI (wallet deletion, cost editing)
• Began work on advanced features (full chart)

• Manual wallet input enabled
• CoinMarketCap framework added (coin prices will be accurate)

This week the app becomes somewhat usable to the user. You can now tell CryptWallet manually how much of which coins you own. I'm still working on calculating average cost from trade history, so API wallet input is not enabled yet. This should be in the next release. Also note that at this moment it's not possible to delete wallets. I'm working on this right now.

Index each coin trade to BitCoin with a Crypdex log function. Each trade can grab the cost of BitCoin at that specific moment to see a Profit/Loss in US or any other currency. Buying a Coin at .001 while BitCoin is at $600 is no profit if you sold at .0012 with BitCoin at $175 as most traders are lead to believe. This will help people know how to Hedge their positions to enable them to get out even or at a slight loss at lower values. 

Zach is working hard on this release. He is a well known dev and is the creator of ZTrader. Don't spread FUD here. This is a thread to document CryptWallet development.

Unfortunately I won't be able to do a beta release this Sunday as I suggested earlier. There is still a decent amount of work to be done on the full TA chart activity, and some other areas. I'm hoping to have something usable by next Sunday. I'll keep this thread updated.

We spent some time developing the Edit View feature . You can find a screenshot attached. Obviously there is some polishing to be done, but most of the functionality is there.
