mining_proxy doesn't recognise -pa so i deleted that bit, it seemed to be working but I'm not getting any confirmations and coinotron website doesn't recognise me as contributing
left it running for about 45 minutes at over 800kh/s but nothing doing on coinotron website

I you are solo mining you need to solve a block and hope for the 50 LTC reward and the odds are kind of low so you are better with a litecoin pool.

Look at this calculator, you will see:

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc

I do use cudaminer with coinotron, stratum and mining_proxy.exe and it is working ok.

Here's my setting for mining_proxy.exe :

C:\minerd\mining_proxy.exe -pa scrypt -o coinotron.com -p 3334

And here's for cudaminer with 470 GTX, you should change 28x8 by "auto" to help find yout best config

cudaminer.exe -d 0 -i 0 -l 28x8 -C 0 -m 1 -o http://localhost:8332 -O elessdai.1:x

Hope this help

hey guys, so I've got cudaminer basically looking like it's working, I've downloaded litecoint-qt and have that running in server mode, I have a litecoin.conf setup with 127.0.0.1:9332 and a user and password
cudaminer appears to connect and start hashing, however my litecoin wallet never increases, I've had it running at 3x250khash/s and absolutely nothing appears in my wallet

have I missed something?  or does it take a lot longer than  30 minutes to an hour to generate even 0.01 of a litecoin?

I also have a 7870 working via coinotron, but cudaminer appears not to support stratum at all, even if I run mining_proxy.ex manually and try to get cuda miner to connect to it locally

cheers for any help
