All cultures are beautiful in their own ways, including their marriages. We have many tribes in Nigeria, but only few would be looked into or known to many of us here. Those small tribes would also have beautiful traditional marriage too.

I wish we should have off-topic, but we just have to be patient about it. A time is coming we would have child board that is related to politics and off-topic, separately.

It's somehow a cool topic, though, and really would have fit to be an off-topic had this home board had any off-topic sub-board. This really doesn't add up to any serious discussion 😃. Anyways, it's just my opinion. Perhaps, the reputable memeber here can request for an off-topic sub-board.

This matter wey you de yarn, you know say every bodi go support im culture and tradition, because nobody go talk say him own no better because they find pleasure in doing all what they are doing.

There are some things that are behind the seen;
I no talk say other tribes wedding no de expensive oo, but the Hausa tribe own wey u de talk say 100k fit run na big lie because common things wey u go even submit before them fix date for the wedding pass that amount.

Although e de always look cheap compared to other tribes own because dem no de publicly spread money and physical parties and so on.

we gather know say God bless our kontry Naija with different unique ethnicities wey get different interesting traditions.
Dem igbo pipu get deir own pattern of wedding wey involve cultural rites with attires wey de burst brain with their fine fine fair girls de make men spray all deir money for ground.. Yoruba people ma get deir own and deir weddings de always appear elegant with confam gbedu. Hausa too with deir simple kind of weddings wey U fit even use less than 100k budget take marry deir fine fine daughters. Other cultures ma dey wey get very unique and amazing wedding patterns; Tiv, Nupe, Efik, etc

For me, I no be Yoruba o, but deir weddings de burst my dada.. dis na bcuz deir pattern of wedding de inline with my life style. I like anything ‘Party’ and ‘gbedu’, make I just de hear gud music de dance (make we no lie, Yoruba too good for music wallahi… Yoruba get melody when it comes to music).

Yoruba lyk party to d point wey dem fit do engagement party, pre wedding party, wedding party, thanksgiving party (to thank God for d success of d wedding), appreciation party (to thank pipu for attending d wedding). Dem fit still do another thanksgiving party for d success of d appreciation party 😂🤣 Omorrr! E choke oo.. na why I lyk Yoruba weddings..
