Farewell, Leo
It's just an entity (as said, Huobi) that uses this very address as their cold storage. Just like Binance with 34xp4vRoCGJym3xR7yCVPFHoCNxv4Twseo:

Reusing the same address for hundreds of times should tell you something about their privacy policy.

They might be doing some mining because it looks like they're receiving quite a few small sums every so often but I haven't checked the times of those and it could be something else entirely.
Correct. That's because Huobi runs Huobi pool: https://pool.huobi.com.

In general, it appears that it is not an individual or mining company address, and therefore the closest guess is to Bitcoin exchange like Bakkt or Huobi Global.

What is so special about this address?

Definitely it belongs to an exchanger. Actually the small sums now and then are associated with different user account selling or buying the bitcoin now and then and all the time. The frequency of miner is very stable and it entirely depends upon mining power. For example if I am mining any coin then I would generally set the payout at fixed rate (let’s say 0.05 BTC) so each time this threshold is reached I am actually getting paid by the pool with this amount.

In short it would have been concluded as miners address if the pattern was consistent and being repeated with specific periods. This one is way inconsistent and irregular amounts are being transferred so mostly exchanger and nothing to be surprised about.

According to this tweet from @TokenAnalyst, that address has something to do with the Huobi Global exchange. It could be their cold storage.

Zooming in to the flow of money, we see that a third of the 94.5k
@Bitcoin directly originates from @HuobiGlobal.

These funds are currently sitting at 37XuVSEpWW4trkfmvWzegTHQt7BdktSKUs and are unspent.

Your block explorer also says it's segwit and is probably right based on the transaction sizes it seems to send.

Hello all,

just stumbled over this address 37XuVSEpWW4trkfmvWzegTHQt7BdktSKUs and curious what kind of address this is. Does anybody know anything about it? How does it happen that it has such a huge balance (as today about 94,505 BTC ). Also it seems to be very active and there were outgoing transactions. I also notice some weird messages within some OP_RETURN scripts.

Any clues? Looking forward to your comments.
