Looking through crypto twitter it seems like their are a lot of useless opinions about/directed at other parties (Musk, maximalists, etc.) and not so much by way of objective analysis of what is actually going on in the market right now.

Any decent analysis out there about what's going on right now, preferably with reference to on chain data?

According to me it's a chain of events that triggered one after the other. Elon tweeting negativity, USD growing stronger, China restricting bitcoin etc... all of these events created a panic in the market. Many started selling and seeing a huge sell off the rest all of them started selling as well creating a huge dump.
But we have seen such dumps in the past. Those who believe in crypto would buy this dip and wait for this cycle to revert.
Bull run will start again, we just don't know when but sooner or later it has to. So why not buy the dip for the time being.  Smiley

Crypto is unpredictable no one could predict the price of bitcoin.  Crypto is always volatile we don't know if the price of Bitcoin will increase again or not. There is no specific tool that you can analyze what's going on in the market.

If you are an old BTC user you can check the chart between 2016 to 2018 there is a similarity in the price movement today and before after block-halving.
What a true comment. Bitcoin is currently doing the same move as in 2017. And bitcoin will emerge stronger from this crash. I hope we do not fall below 25 thousand levels. I trust bitcoin.

elon musk's tweet changed the market movement today, it is proven that elon musk is the cause of the decline in bitcoin and other alcoin prices. yesterday's tweet elon musk boosted the price of doge coin. Here I conclude that Elon Musk is one of the most influential people in the crypto world today.
Please stop talking about Elon Musk and considering he is the cause of everything in crypto market.

Elon Musk and his tweets are contributors for all the FUD on the market. From China ban (fake), tax in the USA (normal, which financial market does not charge you tax from your trading), energy FUD (Bitcoin mining is here for years and how it was fud at this time).

Elon's tweets have some effects but not the real cause of market crash. Sell in May and go away, as one of Western saying goes.

They will come back for this bull market.

Nobody can tell what exactly is going on right now, maybe there is inside manipulation Nobody can say, bit what is visible is the Elon tweet which causes a drastic drop of btc and rest of alts, even if it is difficult to point out an exact reason, it doesn't change the fact that the big whales are at play, there is no need to try and find this out because this is part of the space.

I think we should not being so hyped or stressed about market situations. I personally put some words in my mind so it can ease me to make decisions in trading. First, I believe that bitcoin will become more popular in the future. Second, bitcoin price is always tend to rise because of it's deflation. Third, likely there will be a bullish market before halving time. Fourth, if bitcoin price rise then it will fall again and if bitcoin price fall then it will rise again in the future. Those things are the result of my simple analysis. And I am sure that there are many people that can do better then me.

This cycle is similar to many previous ones, so there is no need for a deep analysis.

Well, this is really similar to the 2018 case of Jhon Mcaffe who did the same thing as Elon Musk, but I don't know if bitcoin will recover very long, like from 2018 to 2021. Just hope bitcoin stabilizes soon and coin season is coming soon

I haven't found the correct data analysis, just about the hype from whales, like Elon Musk, and a few other rich people. Expect to recover soon from the market that is currently bearish

Perhaps you are just following those useless people tweeting about their useless opinions. Those twitter personalities are not unlike each other. They are following what is trending and then make tweets about their reactions and opinions. Anyway that's what social media is about.

But what is currently going on right now as far as on chain data is concerned is also seen on twitter. It's just that there is not much to talk about what is there. It is not something which people could have different opinions. But they're also there on twitter. There is a constant update regarding the integration of Taproot for example.

Unfortunately, this is how the psychology of the masses and the mechanics of the work of traders work. It's not about the message that Elon Musk wrote - it's about the inadequate reaction that arose after him. Due to the fact that traders received a sell signal due to this "news", they mechanically began to fold Bitcoin. When this went on for several hours, hamsters began to sell. But this did not become a "crash! So it is better to forget about this manipulator and move on."

Well said. Those who rode the wave up because Elon tweeted positive stuff should not cry when it goes down because he tweets negative stuff. It's the exact same effect with just opposite directions. The exact same person is a hero when he brings your Bitcoin price up and is a troll when he brings it down again. Maybe not listen to Elon all that much anyway would be better? Wink

LOL! I hope you go this way about everything in your life! Cheesy You will make it far then I promise!

No need to analyze second world war because it was similar to world war one. Also no need to analyze other wars at all because they are all similar.

What on-chain data needs to be referenced though? The recent fiasco between Bitcoiners and Elon is a community thing, not necessarily a problem with the system.

In Elon's defense, the Bitcoiners on Twitter are definitely a bit too hostile. But in the defense of the Bitcoiners, Elon's arguments are pretty ehhh, "look guys I know Bitcoin because I created PayPal". Even though knowing about traditional finance doesn't automatically mean you know blockchains.

Looks like you are going to check out some tools that provide some stats, on-chain and off-chain data that could impact the price positively or negatively but of course as the crypto market is unpredictable at times.

The tools I know may require you to part with some money in form of subscription for pro versions per month

In my opinion, the main rule of the future of this market is not to trust any scammers who pretend to understand the topic. One such adventurer has already lifted the market and then violently threw it down. What analysis can be done here? It's like a pre-planned action against bitcoin and the rest of us. Maybe I don’t understand something, but the market hasn’t fallen for a long time and perhaps this is just the beginning.

As long as it is possible for a single person to impact Bitcoin with just a Tweet we have to realize that Bitcoin still is a tiny technology. Musk shouldn't have any power over it.
