Anyway, to OP please generate me 1LoneSharkLoans. Since you did not even specify the limit to the length then, I'll ask a very long one from you even without split key. Cheesy
I actually have 1LoanShark in my vanity search list for a very long time already. If I ever find it, I'll give it to you.
The more long prefixes I add, the more likely it becomes I will eventually hit some of them. Of course, you should never trust anyone, and never use it, but even so: it's would be cool to have Cheesy

Your offer is an interesting one and i am interested in it but i have one fear. You will know the private key of the address generated and you will hand over that private key to us. What if you keep that private key safe with you as well and regularly watch the generated BTC address. Once you see big amount transffered to that address, you can yourself withdraw it. Isn't it ?
Yes, he can. And that's why you should never trust a private key that someone else knows.
And even if OP is just too trusty and naive, and even if he wouldn't steal your funds, you'll also have to trust his computer, and his email provider or whatever he uses to send you the private key.

Long story short: make your own private keys.
If you want 1Sweet, I'd be happy to make it for you, in a safe way. I've been offering a free secure pretty addy service since April last year. If you want 1Sweetbtc, I can't help you, as it will likely take years to find.

you are right, it's a matter of trust in any form of transaction.. i trust too much humans and i hope i'm not the only one because otherwise we'll be screwed.
From the way you put it, you're either dumb or a scammer. Rule number one in crypto club: trust nobody with your private keys!

Never ask for a service like this. There are ways of generating a safe vanity address without OP knowing your private key.

If OP doesn't agree to generate your address this way, he is most likely trying to SCAM you.

The user who wants to ask for a vanity address will do this steps:
  • 1. Go to https://www.bitaddress.org/
  • 2. Wait until the Generating Proccess is over.
  • 3. Go to the "Vanity Wallet" tab.
  • 4. Generate the "Step1 Key Pair".
  • 5. Save both "Step 1 Public Key" and "Step 1 Private Key".
  • 6. Provide ONLY the Public Key to OP.

Now when OP is going to generate the user's address, he will do this way:
  • 1. This is command he will use for the VanityGen tool: oclvanitygen.exe -v -D 0:0 -P 1YourAddressPrefix
  • 2. After it's done, provide the Address and the "PrivkeyPart" to the user.

When the user has both Address and Privkeypart, he will:
  • 1. Go back to BitAddress and do the Step 2 of the "Vanity Address":
  • 2. In the first box, enter the "Step 1 Private Key" you generated and saved.
  • 3. In the second box, enter the PrivkeyPart OP provided you.
  • 4. Done! You will get your WIF Private Key, Public Key and Address at the bottom of the page.

This.

I'm guessing OP is a newbie and he thinks making vanity addresses are so hard that it needs to be generated by someone else. That's partly true, but generally it's easy if it's just a less than 6 letter target. That, or he's here to scam.

Anyway, to OP please generate me 1LoneSharkLoans. Since you did not even specify the limit to the length then, I'll ask a very long one from you even without split key. Cheesy

OK and after you use vanity gen to create the address and send me the private keys.

Now what ? You still have access to the address and will take whatever is sent to it at once 1
Not a good idea.

you are right, it's a matter of trust in any form of transaction.. i trust too much humans and i hope i'm not the only one because otherwise we'll be screwed.
There is genuinely no point to ask someone like you to generate an address for me.
1. It's very easy to do myself (using my own cpu)
2. Since you will have my private keys you will be able to access my btc at all times.
You can be as genuine as you want, this is never going to work.

Well unfortunately this can't be done on this forum. People have scammed hundreds and thousands of times which made trust impossible.

Plus you can't give the keys to your home to a total stranger and expect nothing to happen, can you ?

If people don't want something too complicated, they can get the vanitygen from bitcointalk and use it for their needs, safely, locally.
I used it myself on CPU!

So your offer is not so useful and it has a good chance to actually lead to scams or scam accusation. Not good.
