Only cryptonight coins are not supported by this formula.
This formula works for lots of coin. (x11, x12, x13, x14, x15, quark, qubit, sha256, x16r, scrypt, x16s etc.)

How do the multipool's estimate the profitable coin? Surely it is not a well kept secret. Does anyone know how to do this manually?

You can use this mining calculator that also includes some of the multipools (Block Masters, NLPool, Mining-Dutch, MiningPoolHub, ...).

I agree does anybody know how to do this even manually? If there is a somewhat easy way. I would love to have the power to check myself.

Hey all,
Is there a custom mining calculator that I can input all of the coins parameterso eg: diff, block reward, btc exchange etc?
Reason being is coinwarz, whatmine and others are never really on the ball with new coins and it would be nice to know what to mine regarding new coins.
