yes i think its a good idea for you to add this custom. i think you can take a look on zazzle.com maybe after you will have an idea to make this custom looks like, they use this service for their member and the member can make their own design and sell it into their potential buyer.

That's nice idea, but you need to add a useful tools and also the cost for custom t-shirt is pretty expensive AFAIK.
