I believe you have to have mined a block before you get to post once.

It's like some of you have never tried to post on the bitcoin subreddit.

6 minutes is short.

How long do you have to wait there ?  Smiley

For 6 minute waiters, copy the post to clipboard before submiting or you might loose the text you wanted to post Wink

Sometimes it takes 6 minutes to read some threads and look at the comments before actually posting yourself. I think it's a good way to prevent newbies spamming. We've had that problem before. It seems to be preventing it a little. I know some do wait and get past the barrier and try to spam but they are normally ban within a couple of hours.

It doesn't take long people! Just post detailed posts and that will shave some time off!

Your activities is good enough now. I think you don't need to wait 6 minutes anymore.

don't worry it will go away eventually.

I sure hope it goes away.

I spent time writing posts and then tried to post, and it even deleted what I wrote. frustrating.

AT the same time, bitcointalk.org does provide a method to contact people, and I am thankful to be able to use their site.

yea same with me, just click back... you should have the form still filled out

yeah it will go away in like 48 hours or so. I registered like 2 days ago and my delay is 60 seconds now which is reasonable.

It is to prevent spammers, it is drastic but nessary. As you move up in the ranks the limit will get smaller.

Yea this is literally the most ridiculous spam reduction feature I have ever seen on a forum.

Great job driving out new members! Appreciate it BCT!
