With two hubs there is no difference between a chain and a star.

Just add any third hub to the hub the second one is connected to and you should be good.

As far as the RHB-500 goes, I have them in a star configuration, eight hubs connected to one root hub, all running off a single RaspberryPi w/MinePeon.

(Ignore the two empty hubs, I was preparing for some Blue Bitfury devices and moved 16 erupters to my test rPi, which is at my desk in another room, also for testing MineP
eon 2.4.0 pre-release.)

Also connected to the same rPi over proxy are the 4 blades which is off to the left.

(PS - Ignore the room color, lol, I haven't painted this room since I bought the house, I'm lazy...)

You need to be careful and identify which port you daisy-chain from so that your devices aren't too deeply nested.  Sometimes windows has issues w/ hubs that are too deeply nested.

The RHB-500 is actually 3 separate USB controllers nested together to make a 10-port hub.

I have a Satechi hub (which will not support USB asics very well) that I used to plug in all my RHB and ebay hubs.

Are you running a bunch of bitfury or USB erupters?
I'm currently running 12 ASICMiner block erupters on 2 hubs.

I run several in a star configuration with no issues.  I have had three or four daisy chained while testing and configuring.  Ymmv.
Thank you very much.

Hi, I've done some digging on google but haven't come to a sure answer. Is it possible to daisy chain the RHB-500 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004F38WT4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER)? I currently run 6 miners and a fan (limit of 7 miners and a fan, but I'm playing it safe and only running 6). I'm looking to add a few more miners and was wanting to know if daisy chaining these usb hubs was possible? Thanks in advance.
