You aren't trying to increase your post count are you?

No, but I've been recently alerted to the fact that multiple users have been contacted by users pretending to be me in attempts to perpetrate various scams.

In light of this increased activity, it seemed prudent to point out how common this practice is and to remind people just how common such "fake" user ID's are.

How exactly would an increase in post count benefit me anyhow?

These accounts all have negative trust and a warning attached to their trust summary to trade with extreme caution.

I don't think it is necessary to open a Scam Accusation against these users. Sending negative trust should suffice.

If negative trust isn't displayed on every sub-forum.  Many people don't see the trust rating at all.

Furthermore, if "Sending negative trust should suffice", then what is the purpose of even having a "Sam Accusations" sub-forum?

Here is the list of the 12 userID's I'm currently aware of that are intentionally created to look similar to mine for the purposes of scamming others.

If you know of any that I've missed, let me know and I'll add them to this list.
