I choose paper.

(I assume it isn't too late to make a choice yet?)

I win.

Now please, just go away.

Hi DannyHamilton,

I have a question: May I release an altcoin using your name?

Regards,
Todd Shipyards, MSc.

I don't understand the question.

In what way would my name be used?
As a name for an altcoin like Litecoin or Dogecoin.

Regards,
Todd Shipyards, MSc.

I certainly can't stop you,  but I would prefer that you didn't.
Why not? I'll release it in a fair way to give everyone a chance to mine it.

Regards,
Todd Shipyards, MSc.

In my personal opinion, all altcoins are worthless pump-and-dump scams and a waste of time and money.

A new coin with my name on it would provide no innovation and would serve no useful purpose other than to try and make quick money for the early adopters at a loss for the late adopters.

I'm not interested in my name being associated with such a thing.

Please choose between rock, paper and scissors, you have 10 minutes left.

Regards,
Todd Shipyards, MSc.

Bad news, instead of rolling the die my dog has eaten it ...

Let's play one round Rock-paper-scissors, if I win I will release the altcoin.
Please pick one and post it here in plaintext, here's the hash of my choice:

I've been approached via PM by a brand new userID asking to use my name as the name of a new altcoin they want to create.

I am using this thread to make the conversation public and to state that I do not give my permission for my reputation to be used in this way.

I will be posting the contents of the conversation here so that it is clear that I have not given permission to anyone for using my name, likeness, or identity to publicize an altcoin.
