Before Snowden I would have agreed with you.  I thought that guy was a confused idiot at first but then all the stuff he was babbling about turned out to be true.

The DarkCoin team should not respond unverifiable claims that at best amount to nothing more than hearsay. Anyone who would make an investment decision based on the unverifiable ramblings of an anonymous new poster is either a troll or a fool.

A post by a new forum troll has nothing to do with what Edward Snowden did. Snowden went through great lengths to provide his credentials and documentation to established media organizations in order to prove his claims were accurate BEFORE making the accusations publicly. His revelations to the world showed the criminal activity and lies that were are perpetrated on the public at the expense of his OWN personal safety and future.

That is the complete opposite of making a baseless claim regarding the supposed government infiltration of a DarkCoin with the unverifiable ramblings of an anonymous new poster that provides zero basis in fact to back up his claims. A real government employee would not risk his security clearance and personal future by making a baseless claim, it's FUD designed to benefit the OP at the expense of fools stupid enough to believe such nonsense.

Again, one word:  Snowden.

But an "anonymous new poster" can do a lot of damage if people start reposting what he said. Darkcoin is in a good position to just laugh it off right now, but what if people start taking this person seriously?

If people start taking that person seriously, then they have brain damage. I wouldn't worry about it.

In the real stock market I wouldn't.  Problem here is that 10% who aren't fudsters and how a panic can turn millions into pennies in crypto.

90% of the electricity used up by the Bitcoin ecosystem is FUDsters posting pics of train crashes and typing incoherent bollocks. I wouldn't sweat it if I were you.

Darkcoin has to formally respond to this:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/darkcoin-has-been-penetrated-by-government-intelligence-for-months-637195

Darkcoin isn't a dorm room project anymore, it is an organization or entity worth tens of millions of dollars.

Individuals and organizations are set to pour real money into it; they have a chance to unseat bitcoin at some point and make lots of people rich.

However, when a company gets this big they musl immediately answer and refute this kind of thing.

Pictures of ham, snarky jokes, insults to the poster (even if in my opinion justified) just don't cut it with so much  money on the line.

It would be good to know who are the people behind Darkcoin, their backgrounds, etc. in the same way we know who runs Google or Yahoo.

Their programmers or PR people or whatever need to get on here and tear that newbie FUDster to shreds beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I'm dumping my investment until we hear something; it might cost me to buy back in later but I think the sky is the limit for Dark anyway so I figure I'll still come out way way ahead even I have to take a few steps back for a couple of days.  Better than risking loosing everything if the whole set-up melts down.
