The minimum amount of money that is required to bet is too much. My suggestion is that the minimum amount should be reduce to a bit smaller amount and small gamblers will be able to bet, I'm sure that it will attract more gamblers whether they gamble small amount of money or high amount of money in your site.

I think you could run a few satellites for a bigger tournament. You could have some with very low entries, like the $5 you mentioned or even less, and you could also have some free rolls. This would cost you some more money of course, but it could be a way to gain some reputation first, and attract more users. I really like poker, but it never gets any decent action among bitcoin users, and I don't understand why.

I do know one thing for sure and you are still lacking of this thing and that is a marketing program. Although you have a good site but without a marketing you will not get nothing back. For a current time you have a free bonuses for a new players here but hoe long do you think it might work? For a longer time you should have something really attractive for players to make them want to be back again and play. Without them your site will never rise, even if you have a good design

Not only not mobile friendly but also looks cheap on the desktop and is confusing. If I found such a service online I would never consider sending any amount of my cryptocurrencies there and 80$ or 100$ worth of crypto is just too much for a starting poker site with no players and games at all. To deposit such an amount of money there have to be a few tables already full non-stop to be able to play.

Op has to do a better job with this thread because looks like made be a child of 7 and nobody will trust a newbie account here I believe.

The only way to win some advertising and eyeballs is to run a promotion for high-rank members and give them some free money to test the water. If they confirm here after a few days that everything works and there will be already a few tables running then there is a chance if OP improves this thread that his service will start and somebody will be playing there. From that point everything is possible and all in the hands of the owner.

I didn't even know it was not mobile friendly when I purchased the site. I just recently found out. That is a major problem to have. I may have decided to hold off on this untill I have a better software made. If you are still looking for the free buy in when I do I will let you know.

Well, by saying that shows how fast you decided to launch the site, without even knowing that your OWN site aint mobile friendly ;  and even so, did you ever taught that , i cant even say design, that with a text mode site, in 2019 , you can attract any member ? Not to mention that you dont have a HTTPS installed ; if you ask me, i think you just bought the script, hosting , and simply launched the site with only intention to make profits, since you dont have one single thing to attract players.

although a new poker site is welcomed but min 80$ on a non tested or trusted site is a bit too much. Why cant people start with say, 10$ SnG or a tourney so that more people might be interested in joining?
I am also wondering about the trust issues. TOR makes the process anonymous which is of course attractive to many gamblers. Using cryptos as many is again ensuring that the people behind the thing won't be traced. But the op says that the purchases and cash outs will be performed via the chat on the website which sounds like a perfect environment for scam. Even on Dark Net's markets people used escrow to avoid people being scammed, so I wonder how this website intends to prove trustworthiness to potential users. And also isn't TOR generally rather slow? Would it even be able to run at normal speed people playing poker online (and I bet there's some animation to handle as well)?

Should be in automated system already. Payouts via chat is not a thing anymore in most gambling sites. And as of now, I won't trust this site up until they get a secured one. Proving trustworthiness will be a long journey if they will not upgrade their system.

Your site should be phone friendly because some of people are more likely to play gambling use their smartphone including me that sometimes i was check and play the particular online casinos through my smartphone however the site seems not quite safe for me and currently there is no players at there and just for suggest that hold a free tournament with a big prize seems good and usually people interested to enrolling the tournament
Yes I agree with you, a mobile friendly site is helpful to gamblers especially when not at home and only mobile device  can be use to access a site and start gambling. Mobile friendly site can be access anytime anywhere with just mobile device that has internet connection and will make gambling much faster.

I came here and am open to suggestions. I figured that running a 1/2 game was the easiest way to get started. I am not trying to hit and run for $800 that would be petty. I am just trying to start up a game and possibly future business if I can find interest.

People are worrying, it is reasoanable if they think that you may run with it becuase your site is not even worth that much. You need to start with a better way, dont ask people to risk that much amount of money on a cheap site like yours which is not secure. It is a basic logic for people to be very careful in spending their money in any online services. Work on your site first, then you can start offering something like freeroll. It is the easiest way to start a new poker site instead of asking people to deposit too much.

Now you actually sound a bit more professional and sound in the head. Yes I understand where you are coming from. It is actually worth a lot more to me right now. I paid way too much for tha website. To me I didn't really think that $80 was so steep. I originally had a plan to make a $200 minimum. I am honestly just tying to start a private game on this website I am not worried much on security and what not since I would have the money same. We would only be playing there. But the overall thing I have learned from this whole thread and site is maybe I should start lower. Personally I like a 1/2 game or a 2/5. But, maybe if I wanted to start out and get some players I should change the game and make it a 10c/10c NLH game with a buy in from $5 to $50. I think maybe the opening game would get much more attraction. What do people think about this idea? Or any other suggestions?

Is $80 really that expesive to all you people? Not trying to come at anybody rude. There are senior moderators in a bitcoin forum saying $80 is a lot of money. What is more acceptable then? Also the money does not go onto the website so a security risk on the side is dismissable. This game will be run like a home game as friends. Eventually we want to upgrade but for now we are just looking to get a table going. You pay the house and cash out after your done if you win. I didn't realize that it would look like such a sketchy scam. But I do appreciate all of the comments to see where I am making mistakes.

For a new site asking for such amount, it is. There have been so many scam cases whereby OP promised unrealistic bonuses but deposit required, players fell for the scam and the OP gets negative tagged.

Besides, how is your site going to attract players if the entry barrier is too high? Say if some newbie promotes some XYZ site, and asks for a minimum of $50 just to cashout, would you proceed? Definitely you wouldn't just simply dump that amount unless you really don't care.

Look at those legit casinos around you; Crypto-Games, Stake, FortuneJack. They never asked for $10 minimum, let alone $80. You need to attract the majority that are fine with gambling their spare changes.

I figured that the rake being super low and that it was just a personal game with 10 players it would bring a group together like a private home game. That was my goal. I had somebody else questioning why nobody answered the chat. It is because I am not running a 24/7 casino. I announced for a game to be on Friday. I also didn't expect that $80 was a lot of money. Maybe I should start the game at 25c/50c with a buyin of $20-$200. Maybe people would be interested then? If people need to know my other websites, vendor names, pictures of my wallets to trust me then just let me know what works. I simply came here to try to get a friendly private game going. I am not trying to scam or takover this stake.com that all the haters are shilling. I am trying to get one table going so I can have fun on Friday and possibly run it a few times a week. I appreciate all the critism because it make me think about what I am doing wrong but if you are coming here to shill a website and hate on me saying $80 is a lot of money then that isn't right.

Also concerned with initial amount, minimum of $80 before you can play hard for new site to ask for such amount.

$80 and a HTTP site. That's one expensive security lesson for those suckers!

Normally 80$ would be considered a medium amount of money to invest in a gambling site by most people here but the problem is yours is a brand new website and that's why everyone is saying this is a lot of money. In my opinion people shouldn't pay even 5$ because you do not inspire trust at all. I guess you already figured out why.
You said 800$ would be petty for you but think that there are some people here that have a monthly salary close to that number. People are skeptical about you because anyone can build a cheap website with less than 50$ then come here asking for 800$. Man, if you ask me that's easy money to be made with no effort by a scammer. And we have seen many cases like this before.

You will be having a hard time to convince people here to play at your site. Since it's new and people don't trust a newly developed site, the amount needed in order to play is kinda high.

New site need to prove its legitimate to attract a player because everyday I see more and more new online casino introduce in this forum site. I already visited the site some page did not load completely the design need improvement because it look cheap compare to other online casino.

I strongly suggest you to not register and play on this website for security reasons. The website is not secured with a SSL and you can see that because it's flagged by Chrome, saying it is dangerous for you and your security. The website is very poor, and there are no pages for FAQ or Terms&Conditions. Also it seems like they have a Contact Us page but that doesn't work too. You can find a live chat on their website but I've been waiting for about 15 minutes without a response so it's probably not working neither. Everything suggests this is a scam and OP post suggests the same thing, because he came directly asking for money and offering bonuses for deposits.

First you need to purchase a security certificate on the site, then a little confidence will appear in this project. Before that, it seems to me, no one will make deposits.

This is very important, though OP mentions that it's just a quick start but they need to consider that gamblers always looking for secure site to play their money, without SSL it would be a doubtful site to deposit your initial bankroll, if the team behind is aiming for long term business, this concern needs to
resolve and take a good response.

Also concerned with initial amount, minimum of $80 before you can play hard for new site to ask for such amount.

Poorly Setup Platform and too many flaws and security issues.

Registration: Redirect to an IP address instead of a registration URL, You need to properly set up the port to 8080 to redirect it to your domain.

Security: No SSL

Design: Front end Cheap Free web template with default UX design.

Launching a casino platform is not an easy job, But in today's market with stiff competition you should take your time by studying your competitor and undergo much more deeper research before launching your poker platform. But the way you handle your site, Look's like you are rushing to launch this site without thinking long term.

Red Flag: You are giving away $20 for every $100 deposit on your platform is a big redflag where in most startup casino offer's signup bonus to test and play in their platform.

I was about to say the same after reading all those comments before you did. https is something they need for build up confidence from the visitors anywhere. However, right now I do not see this is an issue. The issue is to trust them.

You didnt even put a link to your website, but you expect us to come and deposit money just because you say so.

It is just a poker site with a plain poker maven software. There were so many similar sites using the same software and all of them gone few days/weeks after launch because there was no special thing in the software and no good offers from the site owner. Not mentioning that this site will be the same, but I dont see any good efforts or offers from the owner to attract users. I'll skip this site.

Its a new site with newbie rank in forum. I dont talk about scam or not but playing and deposit to new site like this is high risk (I hope im wrong). Need proof you're legit before ask players to bring money to your site and its need more time.
Poker is one of popular game in the world, if you can prove you're legit and trusted players will come with money to play.

although a new poker site is welcomed but min 80$ on a non tested or trusted site is a bit too much. Why cant people start with say, 10$ SnG or a tourney so that more people might be interested in joining?

After all of this discusion I have decided to make this a smaller game. I did not realize I was asking for way too much to start and people wanted a smaller game. This is going to be the new game and I hope I can get some trust and players to have a fun game on Friday. We will be talking through the website about it then if anybody want's to enter.
