Frankly the driving factor in BTC adoption is the users political/economic stances (libertarian, Austrian economics, anarchist etc), not the kind of factors that normally drive technology adoption.  It's more like asking why people watch Fox News then asking why they own a TV.

Thank you! Also any feedback around the questions will be welcomed - are they clear/easy enough to follow? Is there anything that needs more clarity?

Thanks again so much!

Hey Bitcointalk members! I'd love it if you could give me 5 minutes of your time!

I'm currently a student/bitcoin enthusiast in the process of gathering data to put together a quantitative study about bitcoin and its potential for mass adoption. I'm basing the study around Everett Rogers' theory of the Diffusion of Innovations.

I need to put together Data around a modified version of the "Five Factors" that contribute to a decision for a user to adopt or reject an innovation.

The questions are relatively straightforward and begin with a few demographic questions for further thought/interest in the study. The demographic questions can be skipped if you so please, but everything else is needed for the study. The survey is very short and won't take more than 5 minutes.

A huge thank you in advance, I'll post the results once I've collected the data and written the research up!

The survey is located here:

(Also, if you feel like passing the survey on anywhere else that would be an even bigger help!)
