i'd be advising him to do the same thing, he has nothing to gain from them and everything to lose especially in the 4 way debates with farage the broadcasters originally wanted.

sucking at politic (or what ever) isn't bad, as long as you can love right the person you love.... surrender, move on. thanks for serving. don't waste your time on your importance, public servant come and go, nothing important as long as ... Cheesy..

If he can't debate an opponents live from the same country as his, what are his chance against let's say a Russian. lol. ahahaa... lovely.

It is a joke situation.  BBC showed a montage of him campaigning for TV debates with Brown before the last GE, now he doesn't think it is worthwhile...
I do think that the debates would probably unfairly help the small parties that would never be held to account, as they will never get into power, especially UKIP.

He might also worry that UKIP will try to lock him down on his position on Europe, making him look closer to UKIP than he really is.  This could splinter his conservative vote, costing him vital marginals and the election.

I would still like to see a 4 party debate though.
