Thought lamden cap was like $0.1 million not 100. Who said it has a cap of 100 million? Looking at ur t-shirt, the country u live in has the GDP of under $100 million and u must be the commissary tray washer or a dishwasher in a slum district where they do not have mcdonalds. Pepe which is fun art token, has the cap of close to 100 million and free transactions. Some people have run out of proper judgement and consideration, I see.

Weekly Digest: https://blog.lamden.io/lamden-weekly-digest-may-5-64862e446df1

The team has been heads down building. There’s been a ton of progress and so let’s take a moment to share the recent work.
  • Implemented a scalable, file-based block storage solution that can deterministically pull next and previous blocks from the filesystem without relying on directory listings. This is crucial for scaling the number of blocks.
  • Developed a scalable block alias (hash) and transaction storage that operates similarly but is simpler since it does not require next or previous functionality in its structures.
  • Created a migration script and process to transition from the old storage to the new hierarchical storage structure. The node will attempt to migrate the old structure to the new one upon startup if the old structure is detected.
  • Enhanced block height tracking on the current state. The node now accurately saves the block height for each state change, preventing state overwrites if a previous block with the same state key is processed. This new functionality is called “safe_set.”
  • Simplified catchup process. The new catchup starts at the highest block and processes blocks in reverse order. With the new “safe_set” functionality, this allows nodes to obtain a more recent current state faster, enabling them to participate in consensus more quickly.
  • Made the genesis block a requirement for new nodes and discontinued its provision by other nodes. Due to its large size, the block is no longer sent across the network. Added a block downloader to the Lamden node package repository for new nodes to use before joining.
  • Streamlined the joining and starting processes. Both are essentially the same routine, with joining having one extra step before starting. Both processes now attempt catchup.
  • Introduced a new “new block” gossip network for nodes to detect synchronization discrepancies. This adds some extra overhead to the networking layer but is necessary to keep nodes in sync. The system is basic and could be expanded in the future.
  • Added missing block processing. If a node is found to be missing a block, the node owner can notify the node to fetch the block from other nodes and process it. During this process, the node will repair its hashes to re-synchronize with the network. The new gossip layer should reduce the need for this functionality, but it will be relied upon initially to re-synchronize mainnet.
  • Improved the upgrade process via smart contract governance, which previously caused numerous issues. The new stability brought by the upgrades has significantly enhanced the process.

What’s next? Here’s what the team has on their plate:
  • Address the issue of nodes getting stuck in an infinite loop if they don’t receive enough results from the network for consensus. This problem caused much of the early downtime. Although a bug fix improved node result consistency, the potential for nodes getting stuck still exists and could pose a problem. Implementing an escape hatch during the process to discard the consensus attempt might resolve this issue.
  • Test upgrading mainnet from Lamden v2.0.15 to Lamden v2.0.21. Ideally, the upgrade should be direct, with all migrations happening automatically. This process should leave mainnet migrated and updated. To ensure a smooth transition, recover all mainnet data to local instances and run the upgrade multiple times.
  • After updating mainnet, utilize the new missing blocks process to re-synchronize the network. Test this process locally before going live to ensure its efficacy.

Weekly Digest: https://blog.lamden.io/lamden-weekly-digest-apr-14-737bddba2f1c

  • The Lamden Realm role-playing game is continually receiving new features and updates — too many to list! A speed run video from community member ‘Art D’ does an excellent job to highlight some of the features including item crafting, the intense gameplay, and how to interact with the Taurus NFT marketplace. Come join the fun!
  • The new $YETI reward system has been running smoothly, with nearly a dozen distributions to holders since launch. Rewards are distributed automatically every 24 hours to accounts that hold 50 million or more $YETI tokens (the rewards are funded via a tax on buys/sells and so will only be distributed if the pot reaches a threshold to cover transaction fees). The team is currently working on the relaunch of their website.
  • The XPTL LP -> XPTL farm on Rocketswap is now open. The farm contains ~ 8 million XPTL that will be distributed between now and October 4, 2023. Emissions will double every couple of weeks up to a maximum emission rate of ~1200/hr. The emissions will stabilize for a number of weeks before declining in the same manner and stabilizing again at a lower rate. This cycle will repeat throughout the life of the farm. The Portal team plans to share the full schedule of the emission rates with the community so participants can plan.

Weekly Digest: https://blog.lamden.io/lamden-weekly-digest-apr-7-1efe1fdfafb5

  • We’re very happy to report the Lamden team has implemented a fix for the bug that was preventing governance motions from passing. This fix should also add overall stability to the network. A few remaining tasks will be tackled next as we prepare to add community nodes. Good progress is being made and we’ll continue to keep the community informed. Note that the LamdenLink bridge will be in maintenance mode until April 17.
  • The Taurus NFT marketplace has made impressive progress on their new NFT role-playing game, now called “The Lamden Realm”. We couldn’t be more excited! A host of new features and gameplay were demo’d this week, including the ability to teleport between maps, a new leveling system for your character, and the ability to craft weapons.
  • The Rocketswap farms for RSWP LP -> RSWP and RSWP -> RSWP have been extended through the end of April. The Rocketswap team is close to finishing work on the Rocketswap DAO and hope to share more details soon.

Weekly Digest: https://blog.lamden.io/lamden-weekly-digest-mar-17-3edb82873721

  • The $MARMITE / YETI team held an AMA to discuss a variety of topics including the functions of the new YETI token (9% tax — allocated to 6% for rewards, 2% for LP, and 1% for rain — rewards will be in TAU initially but goal is to transition to WETH once liquidity is restored), an increase of the supply (plan is to increase supply by 10 billion to be used for liquidity pools), preview of the new website (yeti-token.com coming soon), a status on the bridge (hoping to be added to LamdenLink but will explore all other options if needed), date of release (March 22, 8pm GMT), and more.
  • The Taurus NFT marketplace is working with artist ‘thatguy’ on a new NFT collection themed after the site’s bull logo. The collection will contain 625 unique NFTs, each with distinct and rare traits. NFT owners will be able to participate in the new Taurus DAO.
  • The Nebula (NEB) to Portal (XPTL) optional swap has now concluded. A total of 24,373,725 XPTL tokens were minted via the swap. The new website will be moving from the Rocketswap domain to https://prtl.finance . More info about the vaults and other details can be found via the team’s latest status update.
  • The Portal team is planning to create a widget that any project can add to their website to show users that a token / LP lock exists and its duration. This is important information for any project token holder to be aware of since it ensures liquidity will be available for buying or selling and/or that the team’s token allocation won’t be sold. The Portal team plans to lock XPTL LP once the new locking contract has been completed.
  • The Rocketswap team has distributed rewards to the winners of the XPTL and RTAU trading Leaderboards. Congrats to the winners! Check out the latest competition for XPTL and RTAU!

Weekly update: https://blog.lamden.io/lamden-weekly-digest-feb-24-5062b905b054

  • The Lamden team is excited to begin a new AMA series that will be included in the Weekly Digest. The Medium/Reddit format (compared to Telegram) should help with discussing nuanced topics and make it easier to reference historical Q&As. The goal is to bring more transparency and ensure the topics important to the community are being discussed. Please don’t hesitate to message the community manager with any burning questions you have each week (deadline is each Wednesday to give us time to answer)! This week’s AMA is included in a new section below — it’s a meaty one!
  • The new Rocketswap Leaderboard wrapped up its first round of rewards ($150 in total) for traders! Prizes for XPTL, TRT, and RSWP have been distributed — congrats to the winners! Compete with other traders to get to the top of the leaderboard and receive a larger portion of the token rewards — trading is now open for RTAU and XPTL.
  • The Taurus NFT marketplace is planning a full redesign of the website. We can’t wait to see the result. Also, a reminder to not miss out on a chance to win $300 in prizes to celebrate the Arko upgrade — only one week left!
  • Congrats to the Spange team (q t and Bruno) on the launch of their dapp, “Rock, Paper, Scissors”. Players can use the $SPANGE “spare change” token to compete against the computer in a tense game of rock, paper, scissors.
  • The latest YouTube short video from Lamden Girl reminds users to switch their Lamden Vault wallet over to the new Arko network. Thanks for the important reminder!

Weekly update: https://blog.lamden.io/lamden-weekly-digest-feb-17-83e3a4e17242

  • A new Lamden Vault wallet update will be rolling out to allow signing of “account challenges”. This is an anticipated update for dapp developers which will enable dapps to send a new event to the Vault that utilizes the user’s private key to sign a challenge. The dapp can then validate the signature to authenticate the user and enable specific dapp functions (as an example, unlock content on a webpage for only specific users).
  • Lamden team is currently focused on streamlining the process so Arko nodes seamlessly and decentrally upgrade. Progress updates will continue to be shared as the network prepares to onboard community nodes.
  • The new Rocketswap Leaderboard is offering up to $150 in rewards for traders. Compete with other traders to get to the top of the leaderboard and receive a larger portion of the token rewards.
  • The contract for the new YETI token is currently in the testing phase and nearing completion. Depending on the progress of testing, the $MARMITE team is still aiming for the rebrand from $MARMITE to $YETI in late February or early March.
  • Community developer crosschainer is in early stages of developing a dapp in a box tool. The idea is to offer templates that anyone can use to deploy a new dApp with just a few clicks (with the option to customize in more detail if desired). It’s still in early stages and has been made open source for other developers to contribute to. As a reminder, developers can write and re-use contracts directly within the Lamden Vault wallet via the Smart Contracts tab!
  • A new LUSD LP -> TAU farm will be available on the Rocketswap DEX starting Feb 26.
  • The Lamden Bot continues to evolve in new and exciting ways. The Telegram Lamden Bot is now integrated with the Taurus NFT marketplace to enable $TRT holders to generate AI images using the “/ai_image” prompt before typing descriptive text.
  • Apps are what define a platform. It’s why Lamden has a developer-centric, developer-first mantra. The goal has always been to empower developers with easy-to-use tools (ex. Python) so they can seamlessly deliver amazing dApps and experiences. Check out this handy collection of resources for new and established developers!

On BSC its only a wrapper contract. They get minted when someone bridges to BSC and burned when they bridge to mainnet
So there is ~150m tokens staying in the dormant main chain. I guess that price will be fluctuate a lot when the main chain relaunched and those tokens are back in circulating supply.
The 150 million tokens that are in the  main chain V1 are already in circulation, and investors have the option to keep them on the main chain or send them to the BSC network at any time. It is ultimately up to the individual investor to decide how they would like to manage their assets.

TAU Tokenomics

Maximum Supply: 288 million

Total Supply: 248 million (40 million were burned)

Circulating Supply: around 170 million

Lamden Labs (for DAO reserves): 44 million

Lamden Core Team: 37 million

Can you pls explain why the Total Supply of token is at 248m but total supply on the new contract (0x5d9cb4c6f988f8ed166f175a5b8be7e3cbca850d) is capped at 24.2m?

The chart is literal joke, when you had so much time to build, you even managed to get some liquidity during 2021 and then you went 100+% negative from your 2021. Complete joke for any project.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lamden/
Lamden is a blockchain project with a strong team and innovative technology. They have a solid roadmap and partnerships in place that position them well for future growth and development. Keep in mind that the crypto market is known for its volatility, and short-term fluctuations should not be used as the sole indicator of a project's success. It's important to do your own research and invest wisely.

I've been following the development of Lamden for some time now and I'm impressed with the team's progress. Their focus on creating a blockchain development suite for enterprise use cases is a unique and much-needed approach in the space. The Arko project, in particular, caught my attention as it aims to simplify the process of creating new chains, making it more accessible for businesses to adopt blockchain technology. Overall, I think Lamden has a lot of potential and I'm excited to see where the project goes in the future.

Under the text "Buy on PancakeSwap" you have a link to another service, poocoin.app. Why use some obscure service to buy your token when can go directly to PancakeSwap and easily buy it there? Or you have some kind of agreement with this service?

Because if you link to PancakeSwap and your wallet is disconnected or on another network like ETH a direct link does not load the right pair.

What's the problem with pointing directly to the swap on pancakeswap? Here's a link to buy your token for USDT. Instead of USDT you can choose any asset for swap without any problem. Note that the wallet is not connected. I don't understand why to use third party service.

I would argue that poocoin is well known and a better trading experience than pure pancake swap but i agree that there should be the direct link. Personally tho i don't trade on their interface.
