Try putting your BFL, unpowered, in the freezer for about 30 minutes (better if you jimmy some fans in the freezer to circulate the air better), then as quickly as you can safely manage, connect it back to the host computer and see if it starts.

I had a BFL that some cores wouldnt detect unless I started it when it was extremely cold

My BFL 50 Single hashed perfectly, good operating temps in temp controlled environment for weeks then suddenly stopped.  The LED next to the power plugs light.  None of the four fans start and the LED on the end does not light.

Does anyone have experience repairing these or ideas of a commonly failed component?  I've tried alternate power supplies.  The unit is dead.
