I believe in crypto debit/credit cards in the short-mid term. They will be useful but they will die if they do not adopt when mass adoption hits. Because by then everybody will be sending money and paying by phone instead of cards. Mobile phones are a lot more convenient to carry around than a couple of cards.

But in the short-mid term before crypto is mass adopted, these cards will help with the adoption of crypto. The amount of people that get into crypto increases every year, that means more people put money into crypto currencies, money they might want to spend. How convenient is it if you can spend your favorite coin/token in real life.

I really like projects that have the idea of creating a debit card, because this is a very very cool idea, because I think that this idea will help us integrate crypto currency more and more quickly

I was checking out some new ICO's to invest and i could see a plethora of debit card/payments through card based ico's being launched. Don't we have just enough crypto cards to make payments right now? Have you ever used one or seen or heard someone using it? I just see ico's of it but never someone telling buying one of these cards

I kind of avoid ICOs rambling about debit/credit cards, they're often a little scammy and shady. I know certain companies are building infrastructure for blockchain and are also working on debit cards, I'll buy one from there instead of going trough an ICO. But no I've never seen anyone actually use one, I have heard about it but meh.. I'm not that interested for now.

I feel the same. 4 months ago, everyone was talking about tenxpay and then now pundix as to how will they revolutionize the whole crypto space and make payments easier when it comes to retailers and online shops! it is just bark and no bite and unless i see some card being actually mass produced and being widely accepted, i am just not going near it.
