The world can not end rapidly in one day, as well as price can not drop to zero in one day. Wave is a continuing process. It has its borders and corrections.

But putting into account that many people put a lot of emtions on this virtual event, market may be one of fields of such emotion utilization.

The source of apocalypse feeling comes from internal feeling of person that "I will be dead soon" and projected onto external object: world, bitcoin price or whatever. So this projection has no connection to reality, but has natural connection of persons' internal status of phyhics.

If you beleive in rapid end of the world - it is a good time to think why do you consider you will die rapidly. Leave the world and price alone.

Even in the case of a nuclear apocalypse there will be bitcoins waiting for cockroaches to learn to use them...

Nothing out of the ordinary will happen. Maybe more people will consume psychedelic substances than usual.

Hey, at least that will account for something  Embarrassed
You don't think people will do crazy things on the day we have all been waiting for our whole lives?
I imagine there is going to be a lot of out of the ordinary things happening, A little terrorism, some bankers getting charged, and a lot of the worlds insane killing themselves and there we have "the end of the world as we know it"... even if it is only slightly different :p

Exactly, I don't think anything of the above will happen. It will be even less dramatic than Dec. 31. 1999.
Accounting for a few lone nuts, yeah there probably will be some. But the probability of them affecting you or me gonna be statistically insignificant.

Since the world is ending on Friday what do we think will happen to the price?

I'm thinking there is likely to be a massive selloff Thursday as most people will want to party the last hours of this planet. But there's sure to be a few people who will want to buy all the coins they can and put them into a brain wallet to take with them into the afterlife.

And something that just came to mind. How is the end of the world handled with respect to time zones?? Will we see the world disappear in a progressive wedge shape starting at the date line? Hmmmm
