i was reading about this today, role on it is going to be great to know that in future the actual person providing the service is getting most if not all of the credit.

Shit, did I leave the stove on?
Airbnb is great if you want to find cheaper accommodation and are not afraid to share a room with the hosts or get a whole apartment entirely to yourself but the price will be cheaper than a traditional hotel. I am not American either but I am planning on using Airbnb to book a couple of rooms for my travels around Scandinavia this August. If I can use Bitcoin to do so it would be even better!

Your country may be your worst enemy
Sounds great! I've never used airbnb nor uber and I won't ever. Since I'm not American and that I haven't traveled to that country for several years, I don't want to pay a share to an American company for any kind of service. Also I hate those systems because they have huge databases to keep tracks of people's movements. I'm sure the CIA has an access to all their computers.

Not sure about that Fermat thing, though. I'll wait to see how it evolves.

That's good if they start accepting bitcoin payments as well. This way bitcoin will become more mainstream.

However, I don't really understand how being decentralized will help them operating?? It will be a massacre if no central agency is operating their daily business and we, general people will be the worst sufferers.

Any business model they have published yet??

True, I currently don't see the need for open ledgers and decentralization in the industry. Let's just wait for the product then, hopefully it'll not be like OpenBazaar that took quite a long time before release.

Then hopefully they will accept bitcoin as a payment method. This will definitely boost mainstream acceptance of bitcoin...

Called Fermat. Basically, it uses decentralized Blockchain technology for services similar to what AirBnB and Uber provide. http://www.forbes.com/sites/laurashin/2016/04/26/catch-a-ride-without-uber-book-a-room-without-airbnb-thats-fermat-vision/#1a3dbff9a2b3
