This concept is not new or unique, that 4mil went into marketing and creating an acceptable developer tool box for integration.

Other than that, money is wasted to a certain extent. This company will potentially pave the path, but will not be leading or dominate.

Company was funded for 1 purpose and that's potentially being acquired by a bigger fish.

Just curious as to why you think that is? Too small or is there better competition?

Unstoppable Domains is bringing the fight for free speech to the domain level after raising $4 million Series A from Draper venture capital.

The plus side to operating a decentralized domain registry is that the government or domain providers will not be able to take it down. Control of your own content puts freedom of speech back into the users hands which could be the first big step to web 3.0

Wow, this is really a huge some of money to carry out their project, and from what I see and read, I believe that their project is one with a very great potential and would worth a lot in the future if they are able to carry out the project to the fullest, I just hope that they are able to deliver according to their promises now that they have raised funds for it, not coming back to tell us stories until how something came up and they will not be going forward with the project anymore. I will be part of the first set of persons to make purchase of their coin.

It is already expected. When the decentralization came this will be the time that crypto will domain the world. Because this is the assurance that many people and investors that waiting before to invest a huge money investment. I think this will be the year of all of investors to win back what they loss.

This would be something new if they'd be able to resist the take down request from the government.
If it did, it would be the first place for drugs market, illegal porn and hitman services.
Cryptocurrency is already infamous and such services would certainly led to a global crypto ban.

That is an interesting point. Do you think people would opening put that though even though it is illegal in every country? I wonder if there will be some sort of vetting.

I haven't seen or heard of any domain registry of its kind especially one where you can not only have a decentralized website but also a domain that counts as a direct crypto wallet. This will be great for countries that are censoring the internet such as China and Russia.
