> recruit them
You don't get how an assassination market works.

Also NOT soldiers, they're independet contractors, not under any government umbrella, you have a very naiveand historically uninformed conception on how they operate if you put political assassinations out of the equation.

You have no clue of what a PMC is don't you. And how many ex PMC personnel go for "gigs" right.

I do. And they are soldiers, not murderers.

They are not in the business of cornering one's fat wife in the bathroom and stabbing her to death, let alone blowing away Jeff Bezos. Especially when it's some penis who's recruited them via some poxy website.

Fooking laughable.

Will the person you recruit for your hit be -

A - A hardened murderer sitting in a bar waiting for the next contract to come through. As soon as a pic and location arrives off he pops with his gun and a jolly 'must run'.

B - A 12 year old Russian scammer.

C - Law enforcement.

I'm going for either of the latter two.

That doesn't make any sense.
In the big picture, you can't rely on hollywood-like "morals" (emphasis added on the apostrophes).

liife threw a tempest at you? be a coconut !
LoL... absolutely not unstoppable... for a simple reason :

there is a breach of free will... meaning that there is free will and consent on the assassin and his sponsor but not with the 3rd party.

as such it's not legal in the sense of what is legal on a market Smiley.

then think who will win : those who want to assassinate putin or those who defends putin?

and even in the event those assassins succeed, what is their real life expectation after this feat?

Can you with all this reason price that? how?

so it will not be financialized...

what difference does it make with "XYZ" on a blackboard at Shinjuku Station...

Talking about unavoidable anarchocapitalism but also the concenrs it poses to cryptocurrencies and decentralized networks..

Most of you must have heard about Augur. Over a hundred contracts linked together, based on ethereum, can't be taken down.

This creates fertile ground for "predictions" which really are offerings to professional killers to get rid of certain persons.
If you are unfamiliar with the concept of Assassination Market:

    > Associated with each name would be a dollar figure, the total amount of money the organization has received as a contribution, which is the amount they would give for correctly "predicting" the person's death, presumably naming the exact date. "Guessers" would formulate their "guess" into a file, encrypt it with the organization's public key, then transmit it to the organization, possibly using methods as untraceable as putting a floppy disk in an envelope and tossing it into a mailbox, but more likely either a cascade of encrypted anonymous remailers, or possibly public-access Internet locations, such as terminals at a local library, etc.

    > In order to prevent such a system from becoming simply a random unpaid lottery, in which people can randomly guess a name and date (hoping that lightning would strike, as it occasionally does), it would be necessary to deter such random guessing by requiring the "guessers" to include with their "guess" encrypted and untraceable "digital cash," in an amount sufficiently high to make random guessing impractical.

And as of last week, already Trump, Bezos, Buffet, Obama, Musk, Hillary and many others have been targeted. This is something which cannot be ignored; however, but there is nothing that can be done about it. They may arrest all devs, throw them in jail for 50 years. But if there is any profit to be made Augur will be forked by some anonymous dev team, because the fundamentals have already been laid. And Cypherpunks and Crypto-anarchists have been waiting for decades for a chance to see a prediction market like this work out.

Some bumpy roads ahead. And Augur is not the only one who could do this. You have smart contracts, you have cryptos, anyone can build anything similar.

I am interested to hear your thoughts around how this will affect the crypto and smart contract emisphere.
What I can tell for sure is the fact sooner or later some VIP will actually get assassinated via Augur or something similar, and after the news all the global politicians will start to discuss about how to prevent simillar situations to occur again.

What makes everything interesting is that with bitcoin we have witnessed a never seen before redistribution of wealth, and once again like never before, the options such wealth gives have never been so broad.
Imagine what those new-rich (e.g. your Magic The Gathering neckbeard) could do with their funny money.
