You are ignoring the most important factor. In order to expand, they need the demography on their side. Unfortunately the Shiite demographics are not that rosy. In Iran, the fertility rate has dipped below 1.80 children per woman, which is lower than the same in Russia and the United States. Also, right now the Shiite population is much smaller, when compared to the Sunni population.

I have always thought that any linkage of a true religion with specific geographical spots on Earth was something of the past, relating to tribal behavior.

Just out of curiosity. How can Muslims point themselves in the direction of Mecca? Because the Earth is a sphere, I can draw an infinite number of lines between any two points. Hence, there are any number of directions to Mecca. And the shortest route is always through the Earth, not on the surface. For example, if I was in New Zealand, don't I have to set the prayer rug vertical, and aim straight down into the Earth? Because Mecca is pretty much exactly on the other side of Earth from New Zealand. Or did Mohammed not know the earth was round?

As long as the supremacist of Islam will not admit that the mount of the temple is was and will be Jewish there is only war... I just regrets that so many people in the west fall for the lies and money from the Islamic supremacists. It will not happen in Russia, China and Israel.

And for your information, it's not about USA or Israel having nuclear capabilities and could destroy Iran, of course they can but same time Iran could level Israel because it's only the size of one big city. no one wants that and they know it.

I assure you if there was any other way than negotiation they would have already taken it.

And I don't know where do you get your ideas about what is happening inside of Iran but there are near 80 million people living there and all are suffering from something worse than war which is heavy sanctions that are only affecting the lives of people while every thing else moving as planned.
