<3   I hope you get to recover your account swiftly.   I enjoyed the input I have received from you in the past.

If you need my help, send me a PM and I will do so in any way I can... however limited that can be.

The plagiarism thing is kinda irking... but one step at a time.

Looks like you are in a pretty tight situation here, let me shape it up for you here Decoded, one of your alt account got banned so your main account, Decoded, is also affected from the ban evasion rule. Now your main account being hacked will obviously be subject to recovery. So I don't know which will go first the appeal for the alt account before the recovery of the main account or vice versa. I don't even know if an appeal for an alt account is even possible especially the ones we always see being appealed here are main or only accounts of the user.

It's not that my main count has been banned, they state that my information provided is "insufficient" and they would rather "lock my account than have it land in the wrong hands".

They say their decision is final, and I won't be getting my account back. Is anyone able to do something about this? I used this site often and I'm quite worried. Like, if they gave me the reason that it was for evasion I would at least understand because it made sense. But why is my information insufficient? They didn't even ask me to stake a btc address or anything.

So after hundreds of hours of forum time, writing guides and doing trades, a copied post from 4 years ago gets me a permaban. Ouch.

Oh, and according to the account recovery team the information I have provided isn't sufficient to recover my account. Looks like that one goes to die too, I guess.
If your other account is banned, I think Decoded will also ban soon because your evading a ban. On that case, there is no point of recovering the account.
However, if the ban was for only copy pasting one time, you might get an appeal for unban.

So that means that a staked PGP isn't enough to recover your account.

Now i wonder why we really have those PGP threads in the first place if that's the case.

Theymos/(certain moderators) is a bit more lenient these days. If what you're saying is true, there's a good chance he'll just give you a 1 year signature ban instead.
Probably need to open a thread for that though.

I have tried to log into an alt that I have previously also linked to prove my identity, to find it was autobanned on the 21st of June according to https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Sir_lagsalot.

Why is that? I wasn't even active, I don't think I even logged into that account...

I can't think of a rule that I broke at that time that would trigger an autoban... could I at least get some info? I did a lot of trades and if my account has been locked, I can use the forum. But if try to use the forum while this account is banned, that's considered ban evasion, isn't it?

Yes, it would be ban evasion.

Yes you're 100% correct. No one can be profitable for ever in gambling and every gambler knows this fact but still their greediness will not allow them to quit the gambling but still they will try and try until they lose all their money and some people even after losing they will borrow money to gamble and lose. So I think gambling should play some times to enjoy the game but not making money out of it.

Not unless you have a negative house edge.

Gambling is an entertainment, not a profit opportunity.

What was the domain you were using?
"[email protected]"

That's the email found on his account. Would that be the one been compromised? @decodedalt
I doubt if that's the email because the said email was not hidden at the time of account opening and that's too risking of any senior account or at that even the junior account.
Pretty sure that's the mail considering his email account on his previously staked PGP key is also

Code:
******* **** <***********@mailcrypt.xyz>
(Not sure why i'm censoring it considering it's already public, still, i don't want to be the one doxxing him.)

If that's truly the email, I will advise the OP to hide the email to avoid hack again, just my 50cent. Let's wait for OP to clear our doubt.
I don't think it's as easy as that to say in most cases. For all we know OP got hacked in a multitude of other ways.

yeah I had a little fun with purchasing a cheap domain and making catch-alls that redirected to an actual mailbox, but I possibly didn't turn on autorenew for the domain, and what i'm suspecting is that someone purchased it and took the account, although i'm not sure why it would be so targetted.

I already add a negative tag, please write to me from the account after you recover it to remove the negative trust.  Wink

And this is the issue about open accounts with mails who can expire, i would like to recommend protonmail to open accounts next time. That's the secure way. I learned the lesson by losing a paypal account by the same way. You know, taking the lesson in a hard way.

So, don't forget to PM me for the trust remove.

Verified - found your staked print - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14636738

Imported it with your message into kleopatra- seems to check out.

I'll tag your account, but i think some sort of flag is more appropriate. - not sure which one though.  Undecided.

Decoded here. The domain I use to host the email I registered on bitcointalk with expired, and so I didn't get this notification earlier.

My account details were reset on the July 03, 2019, 03:35:59 AM, according to seclog. I have emailed the recovery email posted by Theymos, and in the meantime want to see if there's any ability to lock or mark my account to ensure no one gets scammed or anything. It's pretty obvious there's a new guy just because I haven't posted in the altcoin section aside from putting out ANNs, I don't write like that, and the cuck took off my animated anime avatar  Angry

I have ongoing bounties that I am unable to update, however still have access to the email that runs them, as well as bitcoin addresses. All can be provided as verification. I do remember staking a PGP key a while back, and I have a keybase account that has the same keys IIRC.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512

This is Decoded, to prove that my account was compromised on the 3rd of July. I remember staking a PGP key and really have no idea if this is the same one, just remembered that I have a keybase account. Signing this anyway.
