i didn't know so well about this coin but as i know after they held twitter and Facebook campaign it's coin increasing in price, it commonly what campaign goals also it means many peoples are start to try get profit from thay coin. you can see it graph for fluctuation.
I hear many bad news about this coin
But when i see their roadmap, they are doing very well.
And the most important thing is their very strong community.

Never seen other coins that has as much FUDDERS as compared to deeponion.
All of the scam accusations are there and we cannot prevent that. But think of this why is it that there is still a lot of support coming from the community despite of all this allegations. You can even see that instead of decreasing in numbers due to this negative comment for deeponion community the members continuously increase. This only sognifies that many believe onion is legit and will be great in the future.

I think DeepOnion is a great coin! security, anonymity, and takes the power from the government! it's the trifecta!
Of course I'm biased, but take a look at the sig and click on the link to find out more. There are a few detractors that are very vocal; most of the angst comes from the Dev's currently holding the majority of the coins. What I can say is that I believe in the project, and what they're solving for. I'm part of the sig campaign and received nearly 2,000 coins; with a current worth of over $2,000. And you know what... I haven't cashed out and sold them on NovaExchange. The reason why? Because I believe in the future of this project and also really enjoying being part of the campaign.
