I reviewed Onion recently and for this is regular altcoin what's just using TOR for node connection. Nothing about real anonymity. Every decent Bitcoin client could made TOR connections.

Do they plan to do something about real anonymization of transactions? Like XSPEC or MONERO?

While I do think similar thoughts that DeepOnion will have success in 2018 I think the group here may be a bit biased towards that because we all have some onions. Would be nice to see what other people in the community think because I have heard things like scam coin and hype coin. Yes the marketing presence is big but that does not mean the development side is not happening. I don't think it will make the top 10 hell maybe not even top 25 but the project is stellar and it will succeed. Anybody else have an somewhat objective view?

I have placed my eye on deep onion recently exactly three weeks ago. And have filled my bags with some onions already. I think privacy coins are very important nowadays. Deeponion already has unique features like deep vault and the upcoming deepsend. This coin can easily compete with the dash and monero in the very next future.
