I've just received my Coldcard Q. It's my second hardware wallet as I am switching over from Tangem. Anyways I've got the 3 AAA batteries put in it, pressed the power button and saw the welcome "Press enter to continue" screen for a few seconds, then the device just powered off. I keep trying to power it back on and it won't power on anymore. Flashes a "verifying" screen for a millisecond then goes back to a power off state. Am I doing something wrong here or is this a defective unit?
Better ask that nutcase owner NVK about coldcard nad go with official coldcard support and ask for a help or for refund.
I never liked that new gignatic Q device and I would never waste my money on that, but maybe batteries got depleted becasue of extreme high temperatures.

Do you have extra batteries? Maybe the battery you inserted doesn't have much power and it can't provide enough power to power your hardware wallet.
Or have you tried to power it while connected to a USB power supply? Tried it first and update here if it works.
Also, try to connect directly to the PC and check the device manager if your Coldcard is detected.
