I have 3 gridseeds, mining scrypt and one of them has much more HW errors than two others.

BUT

the "broken" one has best score, ...  Huh

I'm not complaining, but how come? Isn't that veird? Can I trust Cgminer? Guess I should.

Just luck, if you restart your cgminer and view the stats again it might not be the same.

It's called variance.  That miner also happens to have less rejects than the other 2 which is just plain luck. Close the miner and restart it, it will probably be different in 2 days.

40 hardware errors out of over 300,000 accepted shares is not even remotely in the ballpark of a miner being "defective".

hmm, maybe wrong word but still, compare to others is in bad condition. It's about 2 HW err. every hour Undecided ... not happy for that
