Based on the upgrade, it should be done by now.

Deposits and withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will also be suspended before the network upgrade and hard fork, starting from approximately 2023-12-07 07:45 (UTC).
....

So, as I've checked it. The withdrawals and deposits for BSC(BEP20) and BEP2 are now enabled. The current suspended one is OPBNB. I don't know what that network is but you should see your deposit now credited to your account.

It is also important to advise him not to repeat the same action and to use the deposit address directly as he always does without checking the notifications on the platform or the selection recommendations of the network. Sometimes a person is forced to make a quick deposit or hand over the deposit address to another person in order to pay him, but he is later surprised that that currency has not been delisted or that there are problems facing the network he chose, and in many cases this leads to a long disruption.

It is truly unfortunate to see experienced users blindly trusting these services and not realizing the extent of the risk just because they transfer small amounts or the matter did not pose a risk in the past.
I agree, it's like a normal practice that most people does when we don't check deposit address that comes from the exchange that we use. It's just we save it on a notepad and then copy paste it without looking at the updates if the wallet is in maintenance or not.
IMO, that's important when we do deposits so that we'll get to see the updates or the wallets have been changed or whatever update that the exchange that they shall have.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Now coming back to your query about BEP-20. You are depositing BNB then you should choosen BEP 2 network. Furthermore I just checked Binance and they have suspended BEP-20 Blockchain for BNB deposit. You should have checked it before depositing BNB.
Whenever you have issues, you should check that exchange announcement first because when you ask around, you might get incorrect information and feel panic. Try to find answers for your issue with official resources first like Binance website.

The announcement from Binance on this issue.

You are sking about an altcoin on a board meant for discussing Bitcoin. This topic is suitable to be on the Altcoin discussion board. It better that you move the topic to that board.

Do you experience any delays depositing BEP20 tokens or BNB into your Binance account?
Just tested it with 0.01 BNB, it's not getting credited, is something wrong with Binance right now?

Other deposits work fine (e.g. XRP) but anything related to BSC is not getting processed right now.

Any idea what's wrong?
