Yall realize you can order 1 or 2 from the reseller www.minersource.net without having to do a GB for it.

http://www.minersource.net/black-arrow-prospero-x-1-100gh-s/

Selling for 257.22€ = $351.697

Don't see the point in the GB

Thanks. That's the reseller I meant...

Because if you get caught running a group buy you loose 10%... Minesource is an authorized reseller...

Please be a little nicer to people trying to help you out.

I'm in for one.
John K is the obvious escrow of choice but others that I trust, well one of my group buy coordinators, Pidobir, arranged for a 2.8TH/s GB late summer and still keeps our payments very very up to date and trustable. Then there's bitpop, fairly known here, or maybe someone from the Dyslexic Zombie Co. Another trusted person would be SolarWindMiningCo, who has arranged a successful GB for half a dozen peeps.

But nice thinking anyway. I'm in.

Well they don't ban resellers. How about wording it differently so we are buying from you. Problem solved.

Or, you could just buy a single unit from their reseller's for a slightly higher price, not get busted, and not pay for double shipping.. lol

How would that be any less expensive? It would, in fact, be more expensive. Anyone doing that would be out for a profit, meaning they pay for the hardware, pay all the costs we would need to pay, then pay to ship it to the buyer AND charge an additional fee so it is worthwhile.

you might want to at least make a point of letting people know they could lose 10%.

I agree, I've updated the OP to reflect the associated risks.

I apologize for failing to consider something so blatant. I didn't mean to offend you. I have fixed the original post to reflect that all costs including shipping will be divided among the buyers. Again, very sorry for offending you.

As for losing people's money, again: How could they possibly know I'm the same person when I go to order it?

I'm not the moral police, so just to be clear, I would have nothing to say if you were just violating their TOS. However, when you are risking investors money, you might want to at least make a point of letting people know they could lose 10%.

I'm sure affiliates of blackarrow are constantly checking the forums, as they are part of the Bitcoin community, and because this is a great advertising place. I'd be very surprised if they didn't take notice. That being said, there are a hundred ways that they could find out, either by purchasing a place in your group buy to get info, and then closing it down and taking their 10%, or by some other basic sleuth work. Asking unspecific questions, and pinpointing which order is yours.

While I suppose its clearly up to you whether or not you want to take the risk, for 10%, I'd be willing to bet that they will do what they can to shut down your order.

+1.  Mine wasn't even a group buy, as I stated I had already bought and paid for all the units myself.  I felt it was too close to risk other people's money though.  What you are doing is blatantly going against their wishes ensuring that you are going to lose 10% of everyone's money.  On top of that you say I charged a huge markup when you haven't even listed a price yet, meaning you probably haven't seen their delivery fees, BTC exchange fees, considered costs of you re-shipping, or escrow fees.  I'm offended.

I apologize for failing to consider something so blatant. I didn't mean to offend you. I have fixed the original post to reflect that all costs including shipping will be divided among the buyers. Again, very sorry for offending you.

This thread is for the less morally inclined then I suppose Smiley

I wouldn't be worried about the morals, I'd be worried about publically listing that you are running a group buy, and then losing 10% of your money.

I don't see how they would find out, to be honest. I'd just be another customer with an email address unrelated to pythonideus and with no real connection to this thread, as far as they're concerned.
