Personally I'm not sure who I'd trust with that, that is active enough.  Admins can see everything, pms, even if deleted, ips, deleted posts, alt accounts, everything.  Easier said than done.

That's true, but the admin only thing that needs the most help is account recovery.  It really shouldn't be too hard to create a page that allows mods that are flagged for access to reset passwords and/or email addresses on accounts.  That would only require changing a couple of fields in the database and shouldn't take more than 30 minutes top to code.

Otherwise it's people waiting around for a long time to get answers from theymos.  If he doesn't have time to do the admin work here, he needs to make it so others can help him.

Is theymos essentially the only active admin? I think someone mentioned before that there's another but he isn't active much? I guess it comes down to trust at the end of the day (and that's probably a very hard thing to gain completely on here), but I think some responsibility could be handed down to another admin to ease the load, but maybe theymos likes it that way. Is there a list of mods or a known total of mods/admins anywhere?

There are 2 admins, but AFAIK Stefan is only an admin in case something happens to theymos.  I don't believe he does any admin work on a day to day basis.

You can also find mods/staff that way too, but it'll be more of a pain to sort through.

IIRC, sirius was the first admin and theymos is the only admin now.

I also wonder why theymos doesn't answer a lot of things... as far as I can tell he must just be a busy guy

Don't you think with the money he brings in he could hire an assistant?   Wink

It couldn't be too hard to get a mod to help with some admin work... I suggested that over a week ago and haven't heard anything  Undecided

Your post is pretty general, only specific question you brought up was about bans, those I usially just pm them if it's the banned user in question asking. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it's unanswered. If it's some random other person asking I'm probably not going to answer because it's not really any of their (your) business.
