The entire ICO market is becoming very similar to the HYIP market where a lot of shady people are involved in ruining public money and this nuisance won't stop unless we have a filtration process in place. The way ICO owner asks for KYC, we need to ask for the same from the ICO owners before we invest any significant sum into it. At least we will have something to pursue later on.
You said something crucial for this point in time that is a very relevant solution for avoiding most of ICO SCAMS - KYC for ICO owners.
I have been there at the start of HYIP's ERA and at its end, and I can say it is looking very similar to the nowadays ICOs.
I did myself the same mistake of holding tokens trying to give the project a shot to properly launch and have some value, I failed of course. 98% don't even get on exchanges.
