Good one! Quite nice new interface altogether, boots very fast.

I was just checking it out with the latest sph-sgminer

There were issues with 290 cards mining X11, falling back to a lower hash rate after some time.
We solved it there (pg. 38)

  CHANGES FROM v1.1:

    Firstboot isn't running automatically.
    Fix: In root terminal: sed -i 's/@reboot/@reboot root/g' /etc/crontab
    Need to add /usr/local/bin:/sbin back into $PATH in /etc/profile

    Fixed RDP and remove VNC remote access.
    Fixed CPU load and Disk usage.
    Add amdmeminfo utility. Run amdmeminfo from anywhere.
    Update to latest PoolManager with Miner profiles and fixed Start/Stop
    Include more network drivers such as Killer E2200, Intel Wireless, Realtek Wireless
    Fixed miner variables are global now.
    Add easy pastebins!  Use pastebinit or       Fixed conky didn't show correct IP address on the desktop.
    Fixed kernel panics and errors on sound and pc speaker drivers by disabling them.
    Fixed OpenCL driver issue with some R9 cards not being seen or Segfaulting on miner.
    Removed VMware tools.
    Remove swap partition and replace it with more free space to cut down on disk usage.
    New Miners: cgminer_heavy, sgminer-scryptjane. Removed maxminer as heavy has support for: skein, keccak, scrypt, and heavy. Included example conf files for all of the different algorithms.
    Cosmetic improvements, finalized name as Portable Instant Mining Platform and IRC Channel moved to #PiMP.
    Removed some junk from the Applications menu.
    Added automatic aticonfigures cards on each boot for those who need to add/remove/change GPUs. Automates first boot configuration.
    Added network time/date server to help with time zone issues.
    Latest wheezy backports kernel.

    IP not detected on desktop display. 
    Solution: in Root Terminal: sed -i ‘s/eth0/eth2/g’ /etc/conky/conky.conf (or use eth1. do an ifconfig to find which interface you’re using.)
    PoolManager Start/Stop does not control the miner. (Fixed in latest git?)
    Solution: chmod +x /opt/ifmi/mcontrol && chmod +x /opt/ifmi/farmview
    RDP Doesn’t work for some people.
    As root terminal, type: cd /etc/xrdp && cp xrdp.ini xrdp.new && cp xrdp.ini.old xrdp.ini && service xrdp restart
    /opt/pimp/firstboot needs an -f in the aticonfig command
    As root terminal, type: sed -i 's/--initial/-f --initial/g' /opt/pimp/firstboot
    vino server is eating cpu cycles and writing to disk.
    As root terminal, type: rm ~/.xsession-errors && apt-get -y purge vino

Does not work... stuck in prompt. Tried flashing few times on 8GB.
Tried on 2 different PCs.
Boots up, then goes to prompt in Linux.
