Yesterday there was an open source project which also hosts crowdsales.
If you interested in this I recommend you take a look at that instead of buying this.

What's to stop some random developer from taking all the investments and running?

At the moment this system is not trustless and not decentralized. There's a possibility however to set a secondary password on your blockchain account which is ONLY used for withdrawing. If somehow this key could be saved by a third party, but not be accessed by the developers (or persons running the ICO), this will be better.

Then the developers can't withdraw funds and the third party can't login.

If there is a need for more protection I am willing to set this up on a domain myself Smiley
