It's disgust me as well. It's energy wasted that could be used much better for the good of people instead of just heating up a factory in the mountains.

This is how the world currently works, it's the cost of making money. There are many servers that providing services that are heating up large rooms and then more energy used to dissipate that heat to bring pictures of silly cat photos.

Maybe it's because it took a lot of money to replace their S5 to S7 ?
Why would they switch to S7 if their S5 especially in large of number, still making them big bucks Roll Eyes

Maybe they would consider switching to S7 when they feel they need to Tongue

Chinese doesn't have the ability to design a proper ASIC. Those western firm build the chip. Chinese only have the massive production ability to bring a design to life.

If those Chinese farmers ever get tired of Bitcoin, the difficult would drop, so others would benefit. "Insane difficulty" is never a problem, is part of how Bitcoin works.

It was inevitable as the competition grew to mine the scarce resources... you found a similar thing happening in other commodities like gold & silver. In the beginning there were small miners mining

with gold pans in river beds, but these days huge corporate entities have taken over most of the mining, and the people with smaller mining rigs can hardly survive and goes bankrupt within the

first year. There are still opportunities for people to mine Alt coins. Wink
