Updated! I apologize for my mistake!

I'm considering the "upload any data to the blockchain" feature, but I fear it would be detrimental to the bitcoin network. Some are suggesting to create a bitcoin network fork to address document storage features, so I'll look into that.

Thanks for your feedback!

I meant uploading is free, but then you need to pay the transaction fees to have it embedded in the blockchain. Is it misleading?

It's like saying your new car is free, but the engine will cost $20,000.

Can you adapt your system to allow me to embed arbitrary data? I'm happy to pay a bitcoin or so to know that an encrypted copy of my wallet is in the blockchain.

inb4 #bitcoin-dev catches this.

Only the digest? I'd like to store actual full documents. Say, my encrypted wallet backup.

Awesome, but...

Uploading a document is free, and we don't store it, so give it a try!

We can embed the document's digest in the blockchain for you!

You'll need to pay 0.005 bitcoins to do so, as required by our embedding algorithm

Not saying it should be free, but it can look bad if you say so in your advertising when it's not.
