Mostly you are right, what we see now is an agony of the system which was accompanying the humanity for about 500 years. By the way - if you carefully count the real estate price in different sectors and compare to the rate of the "mortgage" + interest you will find (or may be you know this) that buying the real estate making a man enslaved for the hole life.
