There is no doubt that a very large number of people report YoBit as scam crypto exchange for reasons they lost money even though they have protected their account even with 2FA. At first glance it looks like someone inside of YoBit is doing bad things, or there are major security flaws in their system which someone systematically exploits.

YoBit is also using few domains :  yobit.net, yobit.io, yobitex.net and they also warn users if you have e-mail verification on that. I also do not doubt that number of YoBit phishing sites can be measured in dozens, but also some become victim of fake YoBit trading bots and various browser extensions.

When we add to all of the above the almost non-existence of user support, we get crypto exchange which operates under the Wild West system, or in this case Wild East. No KYC and huge number of altcoins is something which is still attracting users to try their luck there.

To be honest;  when BUB went on maintenance;  I did a fire sale, liquidated everything and did withdraws.   I now have nothing on their exchange.    They always paid me in BTC for my sig campaign however;  and I have always been extremely cautious from what machines I log in from, and having 2FA, etc enabled... Just withdraw when the balance reaches ~.05-.1

Now;  to be fair;  I was paid for their signature campaign; for the last..... long ass time up until a bit ago when I did the fire-sale...   IDK... but;  The only thing I log in for now;  is to claim the free .01ETC every 24 hours;  and every week ship it off to a wallet.   Its a mere pence;  but substantial enough to make the effort.  I suggest anyone that can should create a dummy account and do the same.  Get what you can.

There have been wild claims here and there that it is being shut down;  was shut down;  or its owner captured/arrested... but there is nothing in the official realm that substantiates any of those claims.   I have no clue who runs YoBit....  If I did;  I would share.

In addition from posts above. Their terms and conditions was totally 99% copy-paste from the shady yobit rules, they just change the url and site's name except for that one word yobit. Without doubt this btcsquare exchange is another scam.

A scam website copying the terms of conditions also from a shady exchange? what a dumb thing had been done my BTCsquare. They should atleast try to make it not obvious.

I havent tried out to visit this btcsquare but with those red flags, its clear as water that this should be avoided if you dont like to burnt up your money.

I don't know them all, but Yobit is one of the worst exchanges I've ever seen. The number of users who complain is too large. In fact, I've never heard about Yobit for the better, even once. The volume listed on Coinmarketcap isn't real. It's the typical behavior from untrustworthy exchanges that we were talking in another thread.

I went to look at their volume in the coinmarketcap (I do not know if it's a fake volume)

it is fake, if not 100% it is at least 90% fake and i say this based on watching their markets move. basically every day they choose a couple of dead coins and pump them with "fake orders" which can even be smaller than the minimum allowed order size (which is the first indication of being fake) but also they occur at a super high speed that is impossible for anybody else using their API to perform (the second indication). not to mention that if you try to sell to their buy orders or buy from their sell orders you will not be able to and your order will be added to the top of the orderbook (which is the third indication of being fake).
finally if you look at the history of that coin you can see previous day the volume was something between 0 to 50000 satoshi and suddenly today the volume is at 10 to 100 bitcoin!

It's unbelievable that these platforms are still listed on CoinGecko and so on!

I went to look at their volume in the coinmarketcap (I do not know if it's a fake volume)

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/yobit

4 907 BTC

this means that there are still many people who do not listen to the warnings that others give about yobit and when they lose money come here in the forum to complain
