Thank you everyone for your replyes. That was interesting to hear your examples and opinions.
The case of massive deleted posts happen with me this year and I look positively at this in anyway - the forum works and moderators do their job Smiley

Same, I was thinking it was some violation at first but it tends to feel disheartening at times when it's not.
It is some sort of violation otherwise it wouldn't have been deleted. Posts containing advertisements or any kind of off-topic replies, unknown links, shorteners or otherwise illegal or untrustworthy content. Everyone has posts deleted sometimes just don't break the rules consciously.
Sometimes it's not a violation, but the topic owner has a point of view about something and the poster has someting totally different, the topic owner can decide to delete that post without any consequence...
This is how self moderated topics work. Or, if you don't prefer someone, and you don't want him/her to show up in your self moderated topic, you can delete every post he/she tries to post in your topic and nobody can do anything agains it, this is the purpose of the self moderated topics...

Self moderated threads are terrible. I don't post in those threads anymore, unless I know the user and I believe he is not an asshole.

I got many good replies of mine deleted in those threads .

No, you can't see the deleted thread, even if you access the server, and successfully delete the post. There is a mirror that still serves your thread in the forum.
In the case of forums, posts that encourage spam, useless topics, etc. for that it's possible to convince the mod to erase all the data they can find. But it's still available on the monitor mod.
If someone has deleted your post, then you have no right to report that post. what's in it they delete the topic or reply you posted. this might include your topic but by posting your answer.

I have the same kind of problems. But just instead of you I remember where those posts were, all of them made recent. Also I noticed that in the list of my deleted posts appeared some of my applications in signature campaigns and posts kind of "payment received". With last two I'm totally OK.

You must have a very weak memory. Your post given in quotes of that deletion message should remind you or at least give you an hint of where you've posted it by seeing the content written and thinking of the threads you've interacted with recently. Someone should be able to do that unless they post more than 30 posts a day, all of them in different threads.
And, as said @Thirdspace, a post deleted by a moderator can take you back to the thread from where it got deleted if you search for it in the modlog, but if the post is deleted by the self-moderated thread starter, then there is no way, nor it is really a necessity to be added IMO.

What a bullshit statement. Nobody can remember every single post they've ever made and in what thread they made it, nor should someone have to go looking through their post history to try work it out. Somebody could delete a post that you made years ago and for whatever reason they want if it's in a self-modded thread. If it's in an old thread then you're less likely to remember where you posted it. Having a link to the actual thread it was removed from would be very helpful and also likely easy to implement and numerous people have suggested this in the past so it's clearly something people would like.

I also get few deletes every month, I am happy that there isn't much fuss about it. First time, I got such message, thought something is serious.
I find it rather very queer that some members still start new posts, just because they had a post or the other deleted, shouldn't everyone be used to all that by now. Knowing fully well it would not get the post back or change anything, the best thing should be to move on with it.
And if it's on a self moderated thread, then starting an OP on it is so so unnecessary

This is different. He's not asking why it was deleted or complaining about it, but asking for a a feature that indicates what thread the post was removed from.

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by the starter of a self-moderated topic.
The point of my thread is: could be done anything to see a link for the whole thread where the deleted post was? I do not even remember when I made that post and the thread where it placed. How I can report in such case?
Thanks!
your post was deleted by the owner of the thread, not by a moderator
if it was deleted by moderator then you can check the modlog to find the record of its deletion
on that page search by your userid, you can find the record of your deleted post and a link to the thread
however this modlog has limited time range, so you can only check recent deletion a few days back

It was a self- moderated thread in which your post got deleted, so there's nothing you can do about it if that's what you're asking.

The post should be quoted in the PM you got, but there won't be a link to the thread--nor should there be, because the OP is dropping a not-so-subtle hint that they don't value your contribution.  It's going to happen from time to time.  Just roll with it like the rest of us do.

Hello everyone!
From the beginning of the year I have like five deleted posts already.
Today I've got that:

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by the starter of a self-moderated topic. There are no rules of self-moderation, so this deletion cannot be appealed. Do not continue posting in this topic if the topic-starter has requested that you leave.

You can create a new topic if you are unsatisfied with this one. If the topic-starter is scamming, post about it in Scam Accusations.
The point of my thread is: could be done anything to see a link for the whole thread where the deleted post was? I do not even remember when I made that post and the thread where it placed. How I can report in such case?
Thanks!
