I don't have a business, so I'm a little fuzzy in the details, I got the info second hand from a hosting facility manager. I'm pretty sure you use your business tax id, either when paying the taxes or the next time you order. Sorry I can't be more help, but try putting a call through to the cbsa.

Good luck

In Canada the minimum extra you will have to pay is taxes on the declared value if the items. That varies province to province, then it depends on what company is bringing it into Canada as they usually charge a brokerage fee.
If you run or own a business it cuts the taxes down to 5% gst only

I do own a professional service company.

What exactly should I do to cut the tax down to 5% gst?

Should i declare before I ship? Or it's a tax refund when I do the tax? I am new to this.

Thanks.

I filled out an order for 2 s9s and 2 psus and it came to about $210 USD in shipping costs. Anyone have an idea how much more I would pay?

I've never ordered from bitmain, but any hardware I've ordered has fallen into these 2 categories.

The shipped charged me in the purchase price to cover shipping, customs and taxes.

Or when the shipment cleared into Canada I had to pay a brokerage fee and taxes. This was through UPS.
The only reason I paid for them to broker it is the nearest customs office was 3 hours away and wasn't worth the drive. Depending in where you live you can go to the office fill out the paperwork and pay the taxes on the imported item.

Here is a government link about importing for Canada

Hope that helps.

Thank You!

GST + PST + duty + clearance charges

Anyone know how much the latter two are?  There are ways to clear things yourself.
