We should all take note of the fact that ObamaCare was a program that shifted the burden of health insurance from the poor and sick people to those that are in the middle class. Some may say that it also shifted it to the wealthy (as I think there was some sort of tax that was placed on the wealthy in regards to ObamaCare.

Here is a pretty clear summary of the history and current status of Obamacare.

Obamacare is one gutted fish on ice.

They nominated a presidential candidate that has more bipartisan support than any other in modern American history.  Trump cabinet members, GOP congressman, GOP governors, multiple conservative super pacs, a bunch of the Busch administration all endorsing a democratic candidate.  Quite impressive really.

17% of people believe that ACA has been repealed? Like.... How in gods name would you beleive something like that?

People just believe him.  To be as loyal as his base is, you kind of have to.  If I believed him I'd be a huge Trump fan.

August 2016:

“One of my first acts as President will be to repeal and replace disastrous Obamacare, saving another 2 million American jobs.”

Jan 2017, just before inaguration:

“It will be repeal and replace.  It will be essentially simultaneously. It will be various segments, you understand, but will most likely be on the same day or the same week, but probably the same day. Could be the same hour.”

December 2017 Cabinet meeting:

“When the individual mandate is being repealed, that means Obamacare is being repealed,”

May 2018 Rally:

“Essentially, we are getting rid of Obamacare. Some people would say, essentially, we have gotten rid of it.”

Well.... I guess he's not fully wrong if you think of it in the realm of ObamaCare effectively being gutted. As removing the individual mandate kinda kills the idea of putting health people in the same plan as sick people so that it would bring costs down overall (this, to me, is still theory though) I don't think the mandate was 'big enough' to force people to even get the health insurance. Most would rather just take their chances (as for them, in their experiences, it has been cheaper to not have health insurance)or just hope to get a job with health insurance at some point.

A compressive list of Democrats’ accomplishments are listed below. I have done extensive research and am confident I have included all of their accomplishments.

The list follows:

/end of list

Is there room on your list for one more?

Designed, implemented and operate the concept of "Sanctuary Cities" across the USA, where various types of illegal immigrants and criminals are sheltered, not reported to ICE, and not deported.
My list is complete. The Democrats have no other accomplishments. Feel free to quote my previous post and add it to the OP saying that you have your answer.

I remain a doubter. Getting rid of the Beto O'Rouke fake hispanic rat was an accomplishment? And what about Pokahanas? I would be puking if her stupid sweaters were back on the TV all the time and she was the VP wannabe. Getting rid of her was an accomplishment. Although she's not really gone.

This clearly is a "Accomplishment by Democrats", a law passed in the Democrat controlled state of California.

ACR 260 encourages the Legislature to engage in a coordinated effort to revise existing statutes and introduce new legislation with inclusive language by using gender-neutral pronouns or reusing nouns to avoid the use of gendered pronouns; and encourages state agencies to engage in similar efforts to use gender-neutral pronouns and avoid the use of gendered pronouns when drafting policies, regulations, and other guidance.

Here is a somewhat strange but real "accomplishment of Democrats."

Allowing and even encouraging rioting, and continued rioting for months, protests, and varieties of takeover of neighborhoods, burning of commercial buildings and police precinct HQ, while not using force or using absolute minimal force.

Not sure what to call this.

"Turn the other cheek" government?
Encouraging and protecting the constitutional right to protest, yes.  The rest is simply misinformation being spread for political reasons.
For every example you can provide of a democrat encouraging violence during protests I will show you 5 examples of democrats explicitly denounced violence.
.

But there are countless examples of things that 5 democrats would denounce while 1 encourages it.

That has nothing to do with stand down orders to police in the midst of riots. Not that there has been any substantial statement denouncing the riots and "protests" by democratic organizations.

Whatever you want to call it, this is some sort of new thing. That's why I suggested "Turn the other cheek" government.

Don't worry, the broad acceptance and inclusiveness of violent and radical behavior IS ONLY for liberal and democrat issues not things like Covington and MAGA hats.

Here's a freebie:

Quote
Protesting such brutality is right and necessary. It’s an utterly American response. But burning down communities and needless destruction is not. Violence that endangers lives is not. Violence that guts and shutters businesses that serve the community is not.
The act of protesting should never be allowed to overshadow the reason we protest. It should not drive people away from the just cause that protest is meant to advance.

Would be fair to include that they successfully blocked the removal of Obamacare / The Affordable Care Act.

While it wasn't something that they directly did with their votes, as they didn't have enough votes in the Senate / House to block the bill themselves -- though they DID keep their caucus united under the banner of ObamaCare. Every single Dem voted to stop the Republicans from moving it. They launched a pretty successful PR campaign telling people that ACA was needed.

Then everyone saw McCain come out and give the thumbs-down, effectively ending the chance the GOP had to remove ACA.

I admit to not really understanding the current status of Obamacare.

Here is an interesting survey.

Yet, only 36% of voters are aware that the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) Individual Mandate was recently repealed by Republicans (46% of voters incorrectly believe it is still in effect, and 18% of voters do not know). As a refresher, the Individual Mandate was the requirement under the ACA (also know as Obamacare) that individuals must sign up for health insurance or face a tax penalty. The Mandate was repealed last month by Republicans as part of their tax reform bill, and it takes full effect in 2019.

Even among those voters who are directly affected by the repeal of the Individual Mandate — those who are uninsured or buy health insurance in the individual market — awareness of change is alarmingly low: a staggering 44% incorrectly believe the requirement is still in place and another 19% don’t know.

What is even more shocking is that 17% of voters believe that the ACA has been repealed in its entirety (not just the Mandate). This, of course, is incorrect.

Polls like this always make me laugh.

17% of people believe that ACA has been repealed? Like.... How in gods name would you beleive something like that? I guess just the amount of hyper partian media on both sides vomitting 'breaking news' bullshit on you everyday really fucks with the brain.

ACA has been gutted by the Trump admin tho in regards to the enforcement of the law and such within the admin. Interpretations changed and such, all the power of the EXEC unless Congress steps in -- which they wont.

@Spendulus I don’t really know about any major accomplishments achieved by the Democrats because their full focus was on proving that Russia had colluded with Trump to sabotage the 2016 elections, but I count this as a failed achievement because the public never bought it. @suchmoon yea impeachment process was another failed achievement, because their own party member chose to say present rather than vote to impeach Trump.

Found this link which states their 2019 achievements in case you wanna see:

I did study the first of your links before creating this thread.

I included "impeached Trump" as an "accomplishment" because the House is capable of doing that in isolation, and they did do it. But spending their time at something that didn't work out is not an accomplishment. America's going to the Moon was an accomplishment. Russia not going to the Moon was not an accomplishment.
