The existence of a secret conspiracy to impeach a president should not make the president immune to impeachment.

And the Russia investigation was not a secret conspiracy.  There is proof Russia interfered with our election.  There is proof that Trump encouraged and welcomed Russias help in getting him elected.  As a result of the investigation, there is now proof that his his campaign chairman, deputy chairman and personal lawyer all committed felonies in an effort to cover up various interactions and a Business deal with Russia.  The investigation also uncovered exactly how the Russians influenced the election, the Russian individuals responsible, the servers and vpns they used, the fake identities they used,  the email addresses they used, the bitcoin transactions that were made to pay for the servers and VPNs, how they got those bitcoins, the google searches the hackers made, the twitter accounts they used, and more.  This information will help with protecting our election process from foreign governments in the future.

All of these things happened in the real world and have nothing to do with whether or not the president leveraged the power of his office to try and get Ukraine to help him gain an advantage in the 2020 election.

The existence of a secret conspiracy to impeach a president DOESN'T make the president immune to impeachment.

Here is the whole point. And it might sound kinda weird. But the man can be different from the person.

The person can be a man or any kind of artificial entity. Who are they trying to impeach? An artificial entity or the man?

If they impeach him, who cares? Let's take up our existence and men/women, not as persons on paperwork, and do whatever it takes to correct government from our end of things.

The question isn't whether or not they have enough evidence, it's whether or not the thing they are accusing him of doing is worthy of removing a sitting president.

Back in the real world, a certain group of people decided Trump needed to be impeached the first day he was in office. And everyone knew it, because these people were pretty open about it.

They didn't care what the charges were, and they don't care today.

The evil that Trump did and was that they want to impeach him for is being Trump.
You're probably not wrong, although I'm not sure anyone was actually open about it.  The general message was 'lets give him a chance' .

Regardless, the "democrats wanted to impeach him on day one!" is just a lame talking point that has nothing to do with the facts of the current impeachment proceedings.  It's just one of those things they keep saying over and over and over till eventually people start to think it's relevant.

Every president has members of congress trying to impeach them for whatever they can come up with.  The majority of Republicans wanted to impeach Obama at one point.  Being investigated and criticized is part of being the leader of a democracy.

Again, back in the real world, if we see signs and agitprop from the first day on impeaching Trump, and then facts come out about secret conspiracies to impeach Trump, including RussiaGate, and that fails and then they try again with TitforTat, ... I have to revise your statement...

It’s clear Democrats have no leader left that can challenge Trump in the 2020 elections, and the only way they’ll ever win is to impeach him which is really sad.
The vote to authorize the impeachment inquiry only shows that the impeachment is a partisan hit job, which should strengthen Trump's political power, and increase his chances of re-election.

Until and unless there is strong bipartisan support for impeachment, the party pursuing impeachment is going to be harmed in doing so. The vote against impeachment was bipartisan.

what you guys dont see is the big picture

while everyone squabbles oevr 'did he, didnt he' trump dont care
trump doesnt care about 'world peace' or solving problems

trump just wanted to have the oppertunity to sit at the top seat of the USA.
he got that wish. now his dream is fulfild h happy to move onto other things.

he knows his contract is many years. he doesnt want another term. he got his trophy
now all h wants to do is use his claim to the most top fame of usa to make money privately, which he cannot do whilst still in th white house
he is more than happy to leave.

he just wants to now tell his investment friends that he can control budgets of trillions and not cause anarchy. he wants to be able to tell grandkids that he was ''top of the world'

if you listen to him self doxxing himself and blurting out stuff he shouldnt. that not 'dumb trump' thats how do i provoke the public to quash my contract so that i can move on
he was hoping to have been put in office and taken out years ago, through the sexual references. then the self doxing of the elections. but that didnt work. so he upped his game. and will continue either until he sure people dont vote for him again next election, or hopefully by getting kicked out sooner
it was not dumb self sabotage. it was planned self sabotage

like going to work but then sitting in the coffee break room all day doing no work and flirting with the interns hoping your boss sacks you so you dont have to resign.
bign sacked for X is most times bettr than resigning by saying you couldnt do the job. coz then people end up thinking your not upto doing other jobs.
being sacked however. can open up new ventures and make you a needed commodity

trump did nothing wrong, he held back funds to ukraine if they dont investigate and punish the corruption of joe biden's son.
Trump has denied this over and over.

What I don't understand is, why not let the man finish out his term? I mean, there is exactly a year left till it's time to vote again. Is he really so savage that they need him out of there A.S.A.P? Never really understood politics myself, but it seems like society is becoming extremely more feminine in nature.
All I see is whiners and complainers every day on the news, I know he's not the best president but damn, the lynch mob is really out for blood this time.
They think he tried to use congress approved foreign aid to help him win the next election (which is clearly not ok).  If he did, then it wouldn't make sense to just let the next election happen without doing anything about it.

They can't really find solid evidence against him so they'll just do these media circuses where they can plant doubt into people's head. Most adult (hopefully) would already be familiar with this.
They have a bunch of credible, non-partisan witnesses and the "I need you to do me a favor though" transcript.
The question isn't whether or not they have enough evidence, it's whether or not the thing they are accusing him of doing is worthy of removing a sitting president.

The Democrats and others do at least as bad as Trump. But they don't do the good things Trump is doing. And their reason for battering Trump is summed up in one thing ... he won the election.

Anti-Trump Coup Attempt by Undemocratic Dems

Make no mistake about what's going on — a coup attempt against a sitting president for phony reasons, shamefully supported by most establishment media, making them complicit in the scam.

There's plenty to hold Trump accountable for — not mentioned in what may be multiple articles of impeachment against him, notably:

Endless wars of aggression and by other means against nations on the US target list for regime change — the highest of high crimes gone unpunished.

Supporting ISIS, al-Qaeda, and likeminded terrorists while pretending to combat their scourge.

...

What's true about him and hardliners surrounding him largely applies to the vast majority in Congress from both right wings of the one-party state.

They support the above-listed abuses of power, Dems ignoring legitimate impeachable offenses they're complicit with.

They and media backing them oppose Trump for winning an election he was supposed to lose — not his pro-war, pro-business, anti-populist agenda they support.

trump won't be impeached.

democrats are only hitting air

I mean -- what Trump did is wrong. There's no way to attack that one.

But, what matters here is what Democrats can prove and who they can convince. They're going to have to convince the general public -- by getting more then 51 percent of people supporting removal from office to be able to feel as if they have a mandate.

And even at that -- public support has to come from some Republicans as well -- as there's no way to remove Trump from office without the Senate being involved.

trump did nothing wrong, he held back funds to ukraine if they dont investigate and punish the corruption of joe biden's son.

democrats lie in order to protect themselves and their corrupt party, if trump wouldnt have forced ukraine government to hunt for biden's corruption he would have been accused of promoting corruption in ukraine/abroad.

As another note to this, the Dems didn't win anything yet. And it wasn't surprising that they were going to get this vote.

All they did was authorize their current inquiry into the President. It was more or less symbolic because it isn't required to be done -- its just to put Dems and Republicans on the record in regard to what their views on the impeachment inquiry are.

If they are to say -- yes this should go to a vote in the House, and they have the necessary votes for that -- that's ANOTHER THING. Because it means that the House thinks they have substantial evidence to either convince enough Republicans in the Senate to vote for the removal of Trump, or they think they're going to be able to take the information that they've gathered and make Republicans look bad for voting no on the removal.

At the end of the day, this is all PR and spin. That's it. Politics baby.

I’m bit surprised as no one choose to post on this topic, considering how divided American legislators were when they decided to vote in yesterday’s impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. Once the results became clear Trump tweeted that his impeachment was the greatest witch hunt in US history, and I have to agree with him.

It’s clear Democrats have no leader left that can challenge Trump in the 2020 elections, and the only way they’ll ever win is to impeach him which is really sad.

In my personal opinion Trump should not be impeached as he’s taken decisions which past US presidents couldn’t take, e.g. got China to agree to a new trade deal.

What do you’ll think about this impeachment inquiry, will democrats find a way to impeach him or will he spring another miracle and be able to complete his term?.

Unfortunately, personal opinion does not matter on what is being played out in the United States. It is simply politics and nothing else. I think its just fighting Trump on two sides even though they know that he might not be impeached by the Senate, they just want to distract him as much as possible so that he wont be able to focus on 2020 which is fast approaching and by that, they take over the oval. Its just playing politics with the whole thing nothing else.

Best time for a foreign "Axis" to attack America is fast approaching. Or is the smart thing for China and Russia to do, simply let America destroy herself all the way?

MAJOR EVENT FAST APPROACHING & Trust Me You Won't Like It--Trump's Forceful Removal…

A major event is approaching, and America just might experience things they have not seen in quite some time. What am I talking about? Well according to multiple news outlets were nearing Civil War, in fact, many believe we're about two-thirds of the way there… And I' going to prove it do you…

MAJOR EVENT FAST APPROACHING & Trust Me You Won’t Like It—Trumps Forceful Removal…?

How will this 'charade' go on before the bubble breaks? How long will America put up with it? How long with the Democrats continue their attacks?  If they don't succeed in Impeaching the president what will happen? What will happen if they do?

Because the Dems want to maintain a constant drumroll of "Bad Repubs", "Bad Trump!" nonstop into the elections.

They know there is no chance of getting impeachment through the Senate. But the constant negativity is the goal. And doing it using the impeachment process does not cost them money, like advertising does. The government pays!

Have to agree here. This is just procedural nonsense. They won't succeed in impeaching him but they are hoping to land a big enough blow to hurt his chances in next year's election. Is this really going to sway a firmly entrenched base? Wouldn't put any money on that.

They need to give it up. Luckily old age is a factor with a lot of these nutjobs, so nature will begin to take its course over the next decade assuming we're all still here to observe that.

TBH I'm a bit surprised that anyone agrees with him about anything. The man is a walking parody.
Pretty much anything he says is guaranteed to be a lie concocted in an attempt to serve his own self-interest.

It is not really much different than Obama tbh. He at least owns his own RE empire so he is not a complete tool like Obama. Obama looks like a serious fella on TV but behind the scenes he is just a tool for the deep state. Obama was only playing the script they gave him.

Trump is trying but it is not easy to fight against these assholes but I can see him winning again in 2020.

democrats are finished, they are simply just an anti white, anti european racism party with nazi influence (russia hatred)
they have also no leaders anymore except hating racists even obama has connections with the racist regime in south africa.

impeaching trump with a democrat mob is the only thing they can do to slow down their destruction, of them and the their lying media.

democrats will soon fall apart into black women movement etc. and various other racism based groups.
while republicans will turn towards defacto communism.

This isn't worrying and they didn't win anything.

All they did here was pass a resolution setting up a path forward for the impeachment inquiry and increasing transparency for the inquiry. It's pretty much a 'mandate' from the House to go ahead.

But the thing is everyone knew they were going to win this -- they have a large majority in the house and they had a unified party. The Senate is where the real battle will happen -- that's where Trump can be removed from office (if found guilty)

This move would be counter productive to the democratic party. Republicans have a majority in Senate and they'll at least hold the election for impeachment till 2020 elections.
There are no solid reasons for impeaching Donald Trump and if he again won the people's mandate from the elections, there's no power stopping him.
US really have no good choices and I believe people would again vote for Trump.
