It seems to me that such information was spread by Russian. They are afraid that Trump will be more resolute and tough President than Obama. It may well provide stiff resistance to Russian in Syria. What we'll see. Now in General in the media so many lies that you can only believe what he saw.

Their priorities are different. For Barack Hussein Obama, the main rival in Syria was Bashar al Assad and his Ba'ath Party. For Donald Trump, his main enemy in Syria is the ISIS and its Caliph Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.

So today I've read in the newspapers that US has admitted to using depleted uranium in Syria in late 2015:

"Officials have confirmed that the U.S. military, despite vowing not to use depleted uranium weapons on the battlefield in Iraq and Syria, fired thousands of rounds of the munitions during two high-profile raids on oil trucks in Islamic State-controlled Syria in late 2015. The air assaults mark the first confirmed use of this armament since the 2003 Iraq invasion, when it was used hundreds of thousands of times, setting off outrage among local communities, which alleged that its toxic material caused cancer and birth defects."

Last two times it was used was in Iraq and Serbia, any thoughts on this? Too far, again?

It is one of the strategies of the United States, they have fired those shots willingly even with profound knowledge and clear understanding of its negative effects on the civilians. America doesnt really care about the citizens of other countries but what they want really is the outcome of the war. They want to come out victorious to give them honor as a country but behind it victory means sickness and dependence of Syria to the United States. If people are sick they will but rely on the red cross and humanitarian aide from US on the spotlight while on the background troops will dig in to extract important minerals and resources or gain control over the government of the country.
I don't understand why are you so surprised? You care deeply about the people of other countries? More so now in the world there is a growing trend to accuse of all sins of Muslims and migrants. Don't you see? I am afraid that soon will start the pogroms.

Just the usual.

USA destroys the entire world, create terrorists, give them money and weapons, then attack the countries and they're like "we're the nice guys here".
The worst part is that Europe is starting to do the same...

Damn, I wish for a new 9/11 but a bigger one :/
With anthrax mainly...

What in gods fucking name is wrong with you? Holy shit I've never seen someone so ignorant to the point of calling for such a horrible terroist attack to occur on U.S soil, it's something that is uncalled for and horrible in nature to think about. Have you ever listened to the phone called of the people in the building who are screaming, the hundreds of people that knew they were going to face death by burning that just jumped off the world trade center.

Back on subject, you're going to need a source for all this information OP "Your local newspaper" or whatever you stated isn't close to enough.

Haters gonna hate....

So 300 trucks carrying ISIS fuel were destroyed using the DU.  So what?
Who are you talking about when you say, negative effects on civilians?
What civilians?
It would have to be people that tried to salvage or loot those trucks.  And it's not exactly like they were in the middle of a city.
Anybody else?

He was probably referring to the civilian drivers of those tricks. But I don't think that any of them lost their lives in the attack. Before the bombs were dropped, a warning was issued so that the drivers could flee.

The UN must ban the use of depleted Uranium. In Iraq and Serbia, where the Americans used depleted Uranium, a sharp spike in the incidence of cancer has been noticed. Also, several of the American soldiers who handled shells containing depleted Uranium have been diagnosed with cancer.

American soldiers are the worst part of the population.
How can you possibly accept to put your life at risk to go around the world killing innocent people and destroying entire countries for the sake of the richest industrials of the world?

I don't have anything against the soldiers. They are ordinary people like you and me, who just try to earn their living. On the other hand, it is the politicians who start new wars for their own benefit.

Too easy to say they're not responsible.
They try to earn a living but they chose a way that is extremely condemnable.
Not only are they risking their life and attacking innocents but they're doing that for money and for the sake of their masters...
Soldiers are just mercenaries. They're traitors to their own nations.

DU is the best weapon against armor. Without it the cannons on warthogs, ac130 gunships, tanks would have a hard time getting through enemy armor. If the US goes up against armor you can bet they will be using their sabot round in their tanks and DU rounds in their gunships.

Then the US should not tell from the very beginning that they would not use
depleted-uranium munitions in the campaigns. Then later changed it because
depleted-uranium ammunition would be the most effective weapon for
targeting hundreds of Islamic State oil trucks in the Syrian desert.
Although there is no international treaty or rule that explicitly bans their use,
the US will not look good in the eyes of the the world if they keep changing
their stance on whether to use it or not. And we all know the DU can cause
adverse effect on the environment as well.
